I hired her to do some writing and she did do that. She is not done for what I paid though yet. There is still time for her to finish though.
I gave her $150 for no work at all and she did not even offer to do anything article wise for me, but like I said I never expect any loaned money back, but you only get ONE time.
Yeah, I gave her free cash the first time too. The second time she has to work for it I figure. She did produce some decent stuff I have to say. She hit the writing style I was looking for on the nail.
I looked at the first money as charity. But in the long run you don’t help anyone with charity. If she wants to get back on her feet, she needs to work for it like we all do.
Since she knows her way around the casinos and understands players, she can be an asset to me as long as she does what she promises. We’ll see how the rest of the month pans out.
What I am paying her and the amount of work she does is not anything that would support her. She needs to look for more work.
Im too much of a softy to tackle this one. Whatever guys you suggest is fine with me, but please be gentle I understand how hard it is these days to make ends meet for the smaller affiliate (or even mid sizers)

He thinks maybe she didn’t pay her Internet bill cos her mails are bouncing, he said she seemed very enthusiastic about this and I am hoping that it is a case of no ie for a few days, since I gave him the idea to hire her
I am going to dig out my old phonebook and see if her # is in it.Ohhh, she moved Friday – and didn’t know when the internet at the new place would be hooked up. She was hoping for Monday – but I haven’t seen her since friday either so that sounds like what happened.

Guys no industry is totally immune to the economy and whats happened over the past eight years. We have seen it accelerate greatly this last year. The people responsible for all the damage and theft know they are leaving soon and they are grabbing everything they can on the way out while they can still steal more.
This effects players and as result affiliates and Programs feel it too. Even people who have money are nervous and not as willing to play.
It saddens me to see good people reduced to asking for help, but I know it must really be killing them. Over the next few months we will probably see more sad posts and requests for help, and I know its not feasible to lend a hand to everyone but lets not lose site that these are our peers and old friends. I really feel for them, I pray the economy turns around soon a lot of good people are getting hurt bad.

You are right Lou. There are many suffering and it will get worse. God help us all and I’m confident that HE will.
