InactiveSeems to me that this copy is about 3 weeks old.
I don’t know how long it’s online.
I’d wonder if this isn’t the reason for the drop of the rankings of my onlinespielbanken.com.
Has somebody experience with being copied like that?April 22, 2009 at 2:36 pm #798895Anonymous

websitedesignerMemberHI Cat, it’s really BS:madat: that they copied your content, but that’s not the reason your site dropped.
Is your content unique? Did you write it? Copy parts of your content and google it using “”
If your website comes up first, then google knows you were the first one, and he treats all other websites as they would copied it from you.
About your website dropping, where did you bought the last links? Was the website about the same thing that your is (content wise)? Google robots are getting better and better.
PM me if you want to know a bit more about it.

InactiveI’m sure that the reason of the drop of the rankings is the copy of my site.
The few links I got point from that sites also to other sites of mine where I don’t see signicant changes of the rankings.
All content on my site is unique. All written for my site only.
Well, I first check if I made the mistake before I blame others.

InactiveYour content being copied has asloultelly nothing to do with your drop in ranking.
The usual reason for drop in ranking is simple: other websites got more/better links than yours.
We are being copied on a daily basis and I am sure many others do too. There are services which specialize in content carbon-copy, such as press release agencies (the same press release slapped across hundreds of sites) or you can see the AP model – the same news story with the exact same wording on thousands of newspaper websites throughout the country/world without any issues whatsoever.
Content theft is indeed a nuisance, but when your website goes up or down the rankings, it’s usually the fault of your own actions.

wooMemberIt does NOT affect your rankings unless your server has problems, such as >1day offline-times, or when you update your content and your page is offline 24 hours or so, THEN this copy will create problems. My own experience….
DCMA works, i’ve done it in the past…

InactiveYou’re not falling in ranks due the stolen content.
If that were the game, a gang could include 100 mirror sites daily of the most popular gambling site to ruin their business. The offender is taking your work and reputation, but not your ranks.
