MissMMemberI always check the join date and how many times someone has posted something or been thanked. That is a pretty good way to see if someone is ok, in my opinion.
Oh and since I am selling, I AM TRUSTED

InactiveGFPC I noticed as well, that after 1-3 months of buying the link, they’ll pull your links from their sites as well.
My inbox gets slammed with people offering to sell links. Just don’t trust that area of the world anymore…May 20, 2013 at 8:04 am #833158

turbooddsMemberI would suggest people stay away from certain geographical regions. From my experience many from this particular region follow these sorts of behaviours. Everyone know what area I mean

wally1000Memberi paid 400-500$ for links services , and i told him after 2 weeks to take all the links out and to keep the ****ing money,
however he did what he promised but his seo techniques were bad, my site suffered from the first week.
however i’m not that kind of guy who cries for his money, but i was aware about the risk …it wasn’t relevant for me … this was 4-5 months ago …. and i sweared to mother russia that i would not buy a single ****ing link ever … there is so much bull**** and i don’t believe in this **** anymore ….
well i’m not russian lol … i just like to say it like that

btw he’s indian … operating from UK

InactiveAs a rule when I USED to buy links, it would only be from members of long standing at the particular community where I am a member of. I never ever deal with people sending me cold call emails, especially if they are from a throwaway email address.

EvelinessaMemberOne thing that we’ve looked at is actually turning that entire section into more of a real marketplace with user driven feedback and certain barriers to entry (for example you have to be verified by your post count, location, duration of being a member, etc.)
Do you think that would help?

Absolutely anything to stop these scammers from scaming from the community.
Every bit helps. -
