August 9, 2008 at 2:48 pm #775145AnonymousInactiveI had not been here in a while. I got those emails too. I NEVER click on email links to visit known sites. Looked legit to me (never look too hard at emails anyway).
It did remind me to come here, so I did – but I visited here the right way.
Must be all those emails from banks that I don’t have accounts with that have trained me to be wary. How are our friends in Nigeria doing?
August 9, 2008 at 3:55 pm #775147AnonymousInactiveI got it too , but was weird as I was posting yesterday so wasnt inactive.
August 9, 2008 at 3:57 pm #775148AnonymousInactiveYep, I received that too, was a bit puzzeled, but didn’t click anything or pay that much attention to it to see it was a phishing email.
August 9, 2008 at 4:11 pm #775151vladcizsolMemberOur system does generate “We miss you” reminders to forum members if they havent POSTED for a long period of time, unfourtonately its not intelligent enough to bypass the warning if you have visited.
I get a complaint or question about it every week so I am going to ask techs to extend time between posting.
August 9, 2008 at 4:24 pm #775153vladcizsolMemberDoh!
Sorry for the confusion evereyone. I just noticed the url in the email is from our dev server. The techs are testing out CAP 2.1 and must have sent that out inadvertantly.
August 9, 2008 at 4:29 pm #775155AnonymousInactiveOhhhh ok!
Looked like phishing with the dev in the URL.
August 9, 2008 at 6:49 pm #775162AnonymousInactivePhew! Good to know that we are not being PHISHED
August 11, 2008 at 9:12 am #775228AnonymousInactiveLol, received the same
I found it weird, though seeing the top-level domain (casinoaffiliateprograms.com) I thought about some technical problem -
