InactiveI once heard of a fabled country known as ‘The Land of the Free’, but I think it was just a myth, like Atlantis.
How will casinos currently accepting US players like Revenue Giants deal with this latest blow?

vladcizsolMemberNothing has changed Owl so there really isnt any more pressure on the programs. What happened was a very progressive bill presented before the House of Representatives didnt pass muster.
There will be more bills authored and presented and the fight is far from being lost. Actually the vote in the house was TIED so we have tipped the scales at least 50% of the way towards freedom. Thats a major leap forward and it points the way to the future. Its only a matter of time.
After the Elections we should have a more favorable administration coming in the White House and hopefully the forces of good can win back enough seats in the Senate and the House of Representatives to effect real changes in this country. We all have to stay resolute on making that happen.

InactiveI think more favourable administration is definitely on its way. the pressure is starting to be on in a noticeable way, and the support is growing. its just a matter of time and patience.

InactiveJeremy actually posted this same video on the PAP Blog last week and I thought it contained some excellent points. One is that online gambling is far less likely to do damage (physical/financial) that many of the things that are state regulated (alcohol/tobacco/firearms).
These sort of arguments from a high level cant do anything but bolster our cause and the arguments made from members of CAP daily. It’s certainly a step in the right direction.
