    Hi Guys,

Red Hot Revenue would be participating in the CAP spring break.

I have been attending this event every year and would like to say that this is the most exciting conference in our industry. And I believe the shift in the market to Non-US customers doesn’t make a difference in the affiliates’ capabilities to get traffic. This can’t be a reason for low attendance by some companies.

We would be there from 7th till 12th at the Atlantis and would like to meet up all the CAP affiliates. Please pm or mail me and we can set up a time.

    Cheers
    Satya

That’s a darn good question, I need to call my provider.

UPDATE: My carrier works in the Bahamas, err, $2.99 per minute.

I’m going to use Skype via my laptop as much as I can as well as buy phone cards.

I made the mistake of using the phone in my room at the Wynn last year while attending the CAC to call my hubby in Dominican Republic and paid almost $300. I don’t think I called him more than 10 times over the few days I was there so that was a shocker! hehe

I picked up an international cell when I was in Germany, but I am afraid to look at the costs, lol!

My carrier wants $2.29 for roaming as well as any misc. international costs that may occur.

Some carriers will allow you to “rent” a phone for international travel so it may be an option to look into.

yeah I have the option of renting, but my phone has the international chip already in it, It will just cost me $2.99 per minute. :(

Half the Canadian cell phones wont even work in the States yet less offshore.

I’m just going to walk around until I bump into people, it’s an island so I am sure we can find one another. If my strategy worked for Vegas, I should have no problems!

Guys we will be giving everyone a CAP Spring Break T Shirt when you arrive so make sure you wear em. That will make IDing each other a lot easier. Weird and or druken behavior works too, but T Shirts eliminate any confusion with US politicians….

Yeah but the shirts will start to smell after a few days …lol

I bought a phone in Amsterdam I think I can change out sim cards not sure and right now Skpye is sounding good and the roaming around sounds even better!

I did the rent a phone when in London, needless to say I didn’t get a penny of the $300 security payment back:plain:

Good thing it’s next weekend, the weather in the area has been dreadful this weekend. Nothing but wind and rain for me and I’m, only about 100 or so miles away.

Did you get hit hard Professor? We actually had some tornados in the area last night.
