GuestHi,
well even if you were getting players tracked to you. … I know from personal experience they’re unlikely to stay there.
disconnects have cost me more money than all my bad play and bad beats put together.
players just will not stay somewhere that when they’ve got a big pot on the bubble.. or chance to win a tourney. .. and get disconnected …… thus losing their investment …. will stay and play.
I have made several posts about this . Written FT support about it.
They show no respect…. interest or even a damn apology for this.
I need to get them off my sites. your post only confirms that.

GuestHi again all,
ya…….. I’d about at this point get on my knees and kiss anybody’s ass that had a poker program that offered the necessary ingredients for success.
1. enough players to support big players
2. no predatory terms. meaning if I only send one player… its likely to be a good sized player. they wouldn’t have that player otherwise……. where do they get off saying I have to send a certain number in a certain time?
3. no disconnects. no BS period. its not that damn hard!
* reserve right to choose not to kiss any ass I find distasteful

thanks folks

InactiveI’ve had a great experience promoting Full Tilt Poker. Not only are signups good, but player value and excellent has been excellent there.
I stopped promoting them for 15 months while I worked as a consultant for another poker site. (My contract had an exclusivity clause.) I made consistent money from FTP the entire time for the players I’d signed up previously.
I’m not disagreeing with anyone else’s experience, but I am sharing another perspective.

GuestHi Randy,
not argueing your experience….. but am sticking by my guns that they have serious disconncect problems and have cost me much more than bad play or bad beats.
I put up with it quite a while before I started posting about it. i wrote them. I have broadband.
no excuses on their part. I find them distasteful and IF I ever lose my investment … WILL never deposit there again.
one thing to lose….. another to lose to a bad beat…… but getting beat because you can’t connect and then when your game is over … you can log in ….. tells me where their concerns lie.
and it has been that way more than several times. I couldn’t connect until I was out of a game …. and then I can log in easily….. tells me they have it set up so that they make sure they get their money and then don’t care about the player.
The DO have great attendance…… and that is VERY important to keeping big players. …. but so is staying connected.
I can’t speak on their integrity to affs. but i can say that what does it matter if players aren’t at least addressed on their disconnects?
they truly have cost me so many times i finally posted about it … several places …
I have encountered this at other poker rooms… most are gone to US player now … but doesn’t change my point. it especially looks bad when you can log right back in ….. once the game you were disconnected from (and I play almost strictly sit and goes) ….. are over.
not good!

InactiveNo worries. Different people have different experiences with programs, so I wanted to make sure I presented another side, since I’ve been lucky enough to do so well with them.
I think it’s pretty disappointing that they have had so many outages recently. They need to get that under control for sure. :hattip:
