Inactive:unhappy: 🙁
Not fair… I so wanted to go on the fishing trip… and I love fried eggs…
May has been a month of hell for me… first Melbourne, then Singapore… had to drop out of Toronto because I was exhausted but then got asked to fly to Hong Kong… seems like I spent most of my time in the air this month… and the place I wanted to be most was the one I had no choice but to cancel… Miami…
Damnit, Lou, if I have to fly down personally just so I can get on one of those deep sea fishing trips, by golly I will do it – better with everyone around of course…
Late September, early October is the next window of opportunity for me… is it still Spring Break then?

InactiveSpear, the boat I was on had most everyone sick – lol – they all went down to the john and got bounced around down there and emerged sick – Brad just a bit queezy – so I stayed glued to that captain’ s chair, no matter how much I had to go pee.

I had a great time and I am sure there will be pictures and tall tales.
I got a bit too much sun but by now the crimson has turned into a nice tan.
Definitely – we need a repeat! Great times!

GuestI posted this in the Spring Break forum, but here it is:
Hey there,
I just wanted to say that I had a great time in Miami. It was nice to finally meet everyone that I didn’t already know.
Golfing was especially fun. If anyone ever gets the chance to golf with BigFish, DVS007, or Garth, don’t do any wagering.
Thanks to all the managers who sponsored events, and to Lawrence Walters, the gaming attorney.I forgot the biggest thanks to Lou for making this all possible.

InactiveHey Everyone,
Patty and I are back now and I must say we had the best of times. It was great to see my good friends and also meet some new. I am a little tired right now so I will post more later tommorrow. Thank you Lou for making this Spring break possible. Also I thank all the affiliate managers that attended. Dennis and Brad, I look forward to seeing the pictures.:cheers:

InactiveI just got back to Seattle after a nearly 7 HOUR flight from Miami. That’s a long haul.
What a great time was had by all!
It was especially good for me being the “new guy” to get to meet so many great people face-to-face.
Torrey, Ben, Brad, J.Todd, Dennis, Allan, Bob, Ronda, Brian, Lou, Warren … the list goes on.
I’m looking forward to working with all of you guys!

The flight from Bangkok in the past has been 30 HOURS. The absolute least it would have taken me was 24 hours

You need to get on some flights to sunny Thailand to rest and recuperate from those arduous journeys!

InactiveDon’t tempt me, Spear. Thailand is on my list of places to go. I am more thinking of fall time though, or even winter.
Long flights are a pain, but I am slowly learning to sleep on planes.
Professor, I liked this so much I am already thinking about next year!

vladcizsolMemberHi Guys
I had a great time in Miami as well and want to thank all that attended for making it such a killer weekend. I am really looking forward to next year too!Lou, tell us about the great deep sea fishing venture with you and your weak stomached bunch!
It WAS choppy out there to be sure. And well, we may have been a little bit under the weather, but we brought home the fish too. Congratulations to the Captain for that beautiful Kingfish he landed.
Next year we are going to go fishing in the flats in the bay where there are no waves. The tarpon, permit and bonefish are plenty challenging and we wont have to worry about hanging over the side of the boat and feeding the fish last nights lobster.
Spear we definately want to see you on that fishing trip!
Late September, early October is the next window of opportunity for me… is it still Spring Break then?
I had such a great time in Miami I WAS thinking about a “Fall Free for All” in Las Vegas or Lake Tahoe after the October shows. Figured most of our aff manager friends might be around and I dont think any of us would mind partying in Las Vegas as hard as we did in Miami Beach! And if I am not wrong there are a few fish to be had in Lake Mead too! We will play it by ear, but if theres enough support for another get together this year I’m in.

OK .. OK .. I know I’m a baby.
I met guys who flew in from South Africa and all over the place, so I know my trip was nothing by comparison.
I just hate to fly. Anything more than a couple hours and I start to get stir crazy. So even though it was a “short” trip compared to some people, it was damn long by MY standards.

David, see anything interesting laying on the beach? 😮 😮[/B]
There were lots of lovely topless babes on the beach, which added to the beauty of the white sand and light blue water. Very nice break from the cold, drizzly weather in Seattle!
There were also a few women who should have kept their tops ON!

InactiveQuote:OK .. OK .. I know I’m a baby. You just need to get used to it – I used to hate flying anything more than 4 hours myself.
The best way to make it easier – don’t sleep before the flight if at all possible – and don’t drink alcohol either. By the time you’ve sat down in your assigned seat you’ll be out like a light and the next thing you know, you’re practically there.
Quote:lots of lovely topless babesI think the “fried eggs” were referring to this part
Quote:Fall Free for AllDefinite possibility – haven’t been to Tahoe yet so that could be interesting… but happy to stay in Vegas as well.
Quote:Spear we definately want to see you on that fishing trip!Make it sooner… LOL… why do I have to wait until next year!!!

InactiveWell it certainly was a good time, thanks Lou for rounding everyone up. some comments though.
Islandman – you still sitting on the cusp?
, I don’t care anyway that was the best a** I have ever seen.
JTodd – is one hell of a fisherman (Well at least he caught the most bait fish)
mongoose – just wondering where you next vacation will be?
Captain – we won’t discuss your fishing adventure. but you leaving Prima Pasta with the wife early was funny enough
and of course for reaxionm and Tim (wagershare) – what is to become of Pinky and Jamaal.
Cheers
