GuestDid you have a contact there? Where are these guys located? I got burned recently and I’m trying to keep a list of these fuckers.
ThanksNovember 7, 2003 at 9:16 pm #641237Anonymous
InactiveHi Jeff,
We really need a database of all these scums.
The contact name we dealt with was
Sarah Lang, and their contact number is 877-714-1758, email: [email protected]
Their address appears to be:
E-Vision Group
8961 Sunset Blvd (wonder where they get the money to live there?)
Los Angeles, California 90069
United StatesThey are based in California and they are total scum.
Just one word of advice and that is AVOID!

vladcizsolMemberAhhhh so you guys get sold Fake Traffic in the form of CPA deals that never get filled.
The same thing happens to webmasters too, but its quickly glossed over with stories that generally include one of the following excuses:
a) You didn’t have a proper landing page set up. We did send you 25,000 visitors but they ALL hated your site and the casinos listed so much they left before the page even loaded.
b) Gee, that’s the biggest mystery of this business. Some people get conversions and some don’t.
c) Hmmmm you must be looking for immediate gratification. Thats the problem. This traffic lends itself well to branding. Don’t worry I am sure many of those people who we sent book marked your site and will be back later.
I think it might be helpful if webmasters maintained a list of the traffic merchants and PPC search engines that rip US off too!

InactiveI have one to add to the list:
Vegas Lobby – Joshua Saada and Joel (I can’t remember his last name).
Joshua called me a kajillion times, gave me references and promised me a one for one deal on my investment in deposits.
After one month of working on me and having checked out this ‘references’ , I gave it a go. I wired 5K to him. He did one mailing and resulted into three deposits all originating from Los Angeles… (which happens to be where their offices are located)
After that, I suggested a different creative. That’s went the phone tag started. They never answered and only returned calls when I made serious threats.
They kept the money and ran. Apparently Saada was jailed a few weeks after I went public with the ripoff for some unrelated felony.
I got a hold of Joel, and he promised me to run the campaigns, but he never kept his word.

InactiveOK, now is the time.
Everyone list a marketing company which has ripped them off and the good ones.
One of the better internet marketing companies out there is SpottedDogMedia.com as they are very realistic and GIVE results.

InactiveYou know, I’ve also tried ‘reputable’ companies, and had a hard time getting any sort of positive ROI, even in the long term.
At least CNVI Ventures Inc. kept their word and kept the communication channels wide open. They gave me realistic objectives and respected them. That was back in 2001.

I havent worked with them, but I can tell you one thing. They are VERY agressive email marketers. I must have received 2000 emails from Al Muldowney over the last year. Their latest client is Income Access and they are shopping a CPA deal for Casino Web Cam.

InactiveThis came up in conversations with two different managers – both said they delivered but slowly.
In my experience, as affiliate, you are better off dealing directly with the program. Eliminate the middle man.

InactiveI agree with the prof regarding webstorm media – Ive received tons of spam with their name in it – tons!
also regarding the spotteddogmedia plug … you gotta love this “guaranteed ROI programs.” you know the cliche’ if it sounds to good to be true then it probably is.

InactiveWebstorm Media…
I know the owners, and I can say they were (I don’t know about the present) dedicater marketers and delivered results. My two main complaints about them: They are expensive and they are slow to deliver results. I ran a campaign with them and it took 6 months to fufill. I was a bit dissapointed. And yes, the quantity of ‘mailers’ they send out is ludicrous.

InactiveAren’t these guys the ones that ran the “Face the Ace” games eons ago??
Aren’t they also the ones behind…uhhhh…it was a gambling engine….you moved higher in their serps based upon the click-thrus you sent them….
??? drawing a blank on the name right now…
Please correct me if I’m mistaken on this as this goes back a couple of years.
