Nice pics. For some reason I really like the one where I’m kicked out of the tournament: http://www.connectionstech.com/CAPSpringBreak2007/ASOP/pages/asopplayersgetaway15d_jpg.htm
Thats a photo I’d put on my wall.

Big thanks to all the organizers of the tournament, who overcame all the difficulties and made the tournament a truly memorable event.

Guys I just got back to Orlando. I have over 1000 pics from the events. As soon as my luggage gets delivered (Spirit lost it) I will start sorting through them and posting some.

I wish I could have been there. The location was top secret even to the BetUS gal apparently :( It was great to meet all of you. I’ll check back for more pictures. My bags and camera were lost too – seemed to be the theme of the trip!

Oh, I am sorry to hear that!

Donna lost her camera on the trip back from Amsterdam.

Bags usually turn up again… cameras often don’t.

    Crossing my fingers for you!

Received but ransacked – thanks! Better than lost I guess. It was great to see you even if only briefly. It was nice to have the chance to have supper with Don and Donna too. They sure are nice folks. See you at the next event.

    Hello Everyone,

Hope that you are happily settled back at home after a wonderful time in the Bahamas. We here at BetUS just wanted to send a quick e-mail around thanking a few people who helped make the CAP event a memorable one. Much of the credit goes to the CAP organizers whom worked tirelessly at putting together a great event in a great location. To the folks at the Bahamian Airport thank you for finding everyone’s luggage before we had to go home. To the ASOP final table players we thank you for understanding the new venue choice for day 2. I know Rob didn’t feel like getting locked-up. To the other attendees and organizers we appreciate how you stuck it out with us during that long 40 minute limo ride half way across the island. I guess Astone’s Throw Away was a little further than we thought. It turned out to be a terrific venue and a very fun event for all. I wanted to thank Eric Hansel at Executive Gaming Monthly for also donating an extra prize. He has made good on his promise to send the first person knocked out of the finals a consolation prize. He will be sending Busse from Point-Spreads.com a Soprano Poker Set for his misfortunes. Not to be out done Gambling 911 contributed a consolation prize of there own. Looks like Mr. Busse has an all expenses paid date with Gambling911.com’s own Sparky Collins in Miami Beach at a restaurant of his choosing. Wow, 6th place is awesome! Congratulations to everyone.

This was the final break down from the event with the winners:

1st Place $5,000 cash plus official ASOP diamond bracelet – Dennis ‘AceJones’
    2nd Place $2,500 cash -Donny
    3rd Place $1,000 cash -Jesper
    4th Place $750 cash -Wolf
    5th Place $500 cash -Mikko
6th Place $250 cash, Soprano’s Poker Set, date w/Sparky -Busse
    00-299X1.jpg

All 6 final table winners will receive complimentary flights and accommodation to the next CAP event (hint: CAP Euro Fall Fiesta in Barcelona!)

Hope to see you in Barcelona!

I just wanted to mention that Donna and I had a great time in the Bahamas. I Thank you all for making it possible for us, and my second place win at our secluded get-away at A Stones Throw Away.
