    hillarious!

we give you content in exchange for 3 links – then you also charge for it.
I have heard it all now. :flush:

I don’t expect you will get much quality content if that is the way you go – but of course good luck to you. (edit: Lol. Pagerank 0 – 3 homepages.)

How about you try READING before posting.

It says in the first part of the post that I am writing the article, not you.

You don’t give me any content.

And you might want to brush up on your SEO and marketing knowledge, because this method is being used by many in our industry.

i think he/she means the article is going to be written about your site, by him/her.
so yeah, you’re paying him/her to write content for his/her own site but after someones read the article whats the first thing they’re gonna do?
Also, it’s new site content, adding (if only slightly) to the value of the text links.

I guess I should explain further.

The article can be about anything. For instance, craps strategies, sports handicapping, how to choose an online gambling site and so forth.

And having your links within the content adds a lot of value, as anyone up on SEO practices will tell you, which is why the bigger players are moving to this method.

But hey, if it’s not for you, that’s fine. I just take exceptions to people posting on my threads who didn’t read or ask questions, but just start firing false information out.

Also, some of the sites are PR4 and many have been established for quite some time.

    :)

    A) jesus christ – well excuse me for getting the wrong end of the stick. no need for such a bitchy reply.
    B) [Sarcasm]maybe you can teach me about SEO. I mean, I am only #18 on google.com for “gambling” out of about 53,200,000 .. I obviously need help from you and your array of massively ranked authority sites.
    [/Sarcasm]

I wasn’t offering to teach anyone anything. I’m simply pointing out that larger companies (the Bodog’s of the world) are using these methods.

If you think the deal is crap or whatever, that’s your opinion. Why post on my thread (and get everything wrong in the process)?

    Grow up.

firstly as I said, I misread the original thread.

after your sarcastic comment about “brushing up on seo” I simply retaliated with my own super form of sarcasm.

indeed deeplinking can work – I never implied otherwise.

Give me deeplinking on ranked pages or pages with potential to get well ranked anyday. Pray tell – do you intend to link to these article pages from your homepage or other prominent pages on your sites so that they get some “juice”?? Let’s see some examples of previous articles – I would be very interested to see how much bang one really gets for their buck.

Anyway whatever – and good luck to ya. I am off to “read up on SEO” as I am obviously clueless. :satisfied

    Hi,

First, I received no email from you about it.

Second, I’m not sure where the link went. The latest version is one month old.

Please CANCEL your subscription if you have not already. I’ll put your link up for 2 months.

    Sorry about that.

PM me (or reply here) if you want the same or a different URL up.

Also, can you PM me with the email you used for me?

    Thanks!

How come Jason that you say things all the time, but rarely do they happen? or when they do they are extremely late.

Can you put my link up for two months as you state. Its a real shame because on the outside you look like you are a professional person to do business with. When engaged however the professionalism quickly turns to your superior SEO ways, my links are disappearing, and deadlines kept appearing.

I am not the only one who is noticing this, either.

So where is my link for the next two months located? I cannot find it.

QUESTION: is it the advertisers job or the publishers job to make sure links / advertisments stay intact? should I have to go chase you around for this? im on auto-renew with you. what do you think when you see the $22 enter your paypal account every month? is it something like hahahahahaha?

Sorry but you have pissed me off! its one thing to be cheated to. its fully another thing to be cheated to, then lied to.

http://www.free-casino-content.com should be my link and I dont even promote this site anymore, I’m mad because you are cheating. not lost profits. as soon as you saw my message you should have basically RAN to your FTP program and put my link back in.

First, Why do you assume that I even see your $22 per month? Are you kidding me? I’m sorry we messed up, but I don’t personally sit at my PayPal account watching all the transactions. Maybe I should.

Second, I ran and did nothing. The site you mentioned was completely changed to offer a new service. All links were supposed to be carried over. Apparently that isn’t the case. So, I’m fixing it. Not sure what I “lied” about either.

Be pissed if you want, but I didn’t say that I want your money. I told you to cancel the subscription NOW and that I would gladly give you DOUBLE time.

I’m sorry, but is it now wrong and “lying” to ask you to stop sending us money and to allow us to more than fix any issue? Would it be better if I ducked and covered while my company kept charging you for nothing. I don’t think so.

I didn’t run to my FTP nor did I put your link back up yet. I’m was waiting for 2 things to happen.

    1. You need to cancel your subscription now. I don’t know the sub # or I’d do it myself.

    2. I needed to know what link you wanted up. Remember, I said I’d change it if you wanted.

Now that I know what you link you want, I’ll put your link to go back up right now and it will be there for two months as promised. I’d toss you a couple free months on another site, but you said you’re not promoting this site anymore.

Please make sure you cancel your subscription. I’d hate for you to get billed again.

You’re free to attack me as you please. I honestly don’t mind. We made a boo boo. It happens. You alerted me and I fixed it. If it makes you feel better to attack me or the company, please do. It’s therapeutic.

Sure, it’s embarrassing that we messed your link up, but all I can do is fix the issue.

In closing, make sure you cancel your subscription. :)

Who knows, maybe you’ll get three months instead of two.

Good luck with your ventures. :santa2:

You obviously don’t have a handle on your accounts. So I’d agree here. Maybe you should. It’s certainly your job to know who you are charging on a subscription basis.

I am aware you ran and did nothing. My site has not changed at all, the domain is xhttp://www.Free-Casino-Content.com, all I am asking is that you please re-instate the links as you said you would in your 7/30 message. I didn’t initiate any change in my service. I simply want what I paid for.

All caps indicates screaming. Why are you screaming. Are you trying to make me look stupid by not canceling the subscription that you did not honor? Thanks for the double time, when does double time start? today? tomorrow?

I can barely make out any meaning in your sentence here. I am not trying to tell you what to do with your company.

#1, Canceling my subscription has no bearing on you putting up the link that I rightfully paid for.

#2, Regardless of what I ask for in the mean time after discovering you screwed up you should immediately put my link back up. Claiming you are waiting on me at this point is simply childish.

Actually according to http://web.archive.org/web/*/contenttycoon.com the last time your site showed my link was April 2007. So that is actually 4 months you owe me. In addition you can see my link here the way we agreed:

    http://web.archive.org/web/20070407191548/http://www.contenttycoon.com/

It is on the sidebar with my proper anchor tag and my description intact. It is not a footer link. It is not my job to figure all this out. It is your job. I am not pissed, you are making an ass of yourself.

I’m not attacking you, I’m asking for what I paid for. It’s childish of you to think I’d stoop to your level of behavior instead of sticking to the facts.

I’d be more embarrassed about the way you handled the problem than the mistake itself which can easily be forgotten.

Professional way to close your note would have been, “sorry for the mistake”

    I want four.

sounds like a very unprofessional service here… and it doesnt sound like the seller gives a rats ass either. (whatever happened to the customer is always right.. grovel grovel etc?)

The seller should always be contactable via email (if not msn).
