InactiveYes, I had an issue with this, and it is totally, totally unfair. There is nothing in their terms at both income access and ultimate bet about tournament fees or blackjack play. I consider both of these revenue and I feel they are ripping us off.
I sent a player, he is deposited over 7,000 in the past 3 weeks. I have made eight cents off his play. Doesn’t something seem wrong here???
I made a post about this in the income access forum, sent them 3 emails about it and nothing back from them… I believe ultimate bet is screwing over alot of affiliates.

InactiveActually – it HAS been discussed before here.
Yes – it is GREEDY – although they continue to claim “technical limitations” and that they are “working on it” .. no progress is ever made.
I cannot understand why ANYONE would remain an affiliate there ?

InactiveAs for their terms – it’s buried deep – but they do say :
Quote:UltimateBet derives revenue from players who establish real money accounts and play real money games. When a real money game is played, the house is paid rent for the table, commonly referred to as the ‘rake’ (rake is taken as a percentage of the amount of money played during a hand of poker). Each player’s contribution to the rake is tracked, and affiliates earn income as a percentage of all referred players’ contributions to total rake. Now – read it carefully and you see it is just talking about poker “rake”.
Blackjack profits and tournament fees are not mentioned, nor specifically excluded, which is a bit of a cheat …
But if you agree to their terms you are only agreeing to share in the “rake” …
:hmmm:December 6, 2006 at 11:15 pm #718131Anonymous
InactiveSo basically they are ripping off affiliates who have blackjack players. They go to ultimate bet, loose money at blackjack and we get nothing out of it. But just because its not in the terms doesn’t means its not revenue. It doesn’t say they will not pay you for anything but poker. I just think they never updated it with the blackjack or tournament things.
I just did a big campaign for their live blackjack tournaments, so I basically make nothing off it.
I hope they will come to their senses and pay us for this, What a scam!!!

InactiveGlad I read this thread. I talked to my affiliate manager about promoting blackjack and set up pages, optimized them, etc. I am very suprised and not too happy that she didnt’ mention that we don’t be paid for BJ players.
