InactiveOMG, thats insane!
I dont promote them as they are sports, but I would think anyone who does should immediatly coinsider dropping them. What a crock of :bullshit: that they are threatening to practically destroy lives over something totally out of the control of the player. Bodog = sportsbook kindergarten mafia?

GuestHi all,
this is one of those issues that proves a point about why you should always choose a casino thru a reputable portal .. and hopefully the reputable portal owner has the kind of relationship with the casinos that he/she promotes .. that they can use their contacts to get over the head of what is likely the matter of an over-ambitious support agent.
Any casino I list I would espect them to do the right thing … proving I was a worthy and wise choice for a portal operator by the player.
If the casino didn’t want to see the logic and justice towards a reasonable ending to this situation …. ie : not holding the player responsible when they truly had not caused the incident to happen ….. then I’d stop listing them and do my best to work out something towards keeping the player happy even if the casino didn’t have that much sense.
These are trying times however and I understand that. Some things are just out of our control but I just like to point out here is an obvious reason for knowing who it is you’re promoting … and having a working relationship with them.
Even if bodog were completely pulling out of the player’s location … (which it reads like that is not even the case here) .. its an issue that any sensible person in the world would look at and think to themselves there are classier places to spend my money than this. .. …… thus making this an issue that SHOULD be the concern of the casino to make sure they are seen in a reputable and honorable light.
Now all that said: I would like to help you reach such a contact but I don’t work with bodog.
Perhaps someone else has a contact of stature that they could pass on?
*also note: all you can do is ask this be looked into and the casino do the right thing. There are bad players who do lousy things too: like lie and say they didn’t cancel the payment when they really did. I cannot begin to guess what this case may be … but just wanted to point out that is also a possibility ….. and one further reason to know who you’re promoting. If I had such a situation with RA for example: and Ryan/Renee were to look into it .. I would have no question that their answer about the situation would be truthful one and not something I’d walk away from wondering about.

InactiveJust a Point i really doubt bodog can report a bad debt to the credit reporting agencies in the US for an illegal activity

InactiveI don’t think Bodog have been ‘with it’ as far as sensible thinking goes for a while now.

InactiveHmm… don’t like those tactics at all.
However, I wouldn’t really be too concerned about BoDog reporting to Equifax and Experian. And if they did, all the player would need to do is prove his case and BoDog will be forced to reply to the credit agencies. And on top of that, gambling debt is not enforceable in the US so BoDog would have practically no chance of a recovery and I am sure they know that very well.
Nevertheless – in my opinion BoDog has some explaining to do.

Inactivetry to reach Laura Kirk:

InactiveAs the matter was explained to me: That player had deposited through a US bank account, and the transaction has been cleared on his end of the rope. Two days later Bodog stopped accepting e-checks and this had placed his account on negative for that transaction (mind you, the money is gone from the bank). Bodog probaby did not get the money from their ACH processor, however neither did the player.
I’m not supporting either the player or bodog with the scarcity of information provided… but how would Bodog know that ‘…the money is gone from the bank’ in this instance? What they got was essentially a bounced check notification.
Has the player contacted anyone at bodog to inquire or explain?
