Its great, a huge improvement.
A few years ago I would have been drawn and quartered in that discussion. Today I can present my opinion unfettered and even get support from some players.

I admire your defense throughout the whole attack. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but the remarks were completely uncalled for and presented in a very poor manner. It’s really sad that some people cannot accept what us webmasters have to do, let alone belittle it, to provide a decent living for ourselves and people we care about.
Although I’m quite the infant myself in this industry, I found myself offended that someone would degrade a choice that we as individuals and more specifically webmaster have a right to make in how we choose to spend our time and efforts.

Turns out to be a good thing though, it’s always a good thing to be able to present affiliates in a decent light.
Many players have the idea that we are unscrupulous thieves, and that thread is kind of a good thing. Certainly the attacker isn’t looking like a saint there.

I’d bet his an affiliate himself who makes little or nothing. Maybe a scraper or spammer who gotten booted by the programmes.
It would be no harm done if you’ll get Bryan to check this moron’s IP and compare it with the CAP log. Maybe you’ll be surprised to know who he really is.I loved the post that listed a number of points then ended with:
