I was e-mailed today by someone on behalf of an advertising company to buy text-links on my site. Basically they charge other site owners and then approach websites with related content to buy advertising. As a guess he wants to buy between 5 and 20 links per page. For an example go to http://www.phparch.com and look at the “ads by adtopics” table.
How much would you charge these guys per link on each of my pages? I have 25 total pages and new pages being added is rare – about 2 or 3 new ones every month.
The best resource site to sell and buy links is http://www.linkadage.com.
As a rule of thumb, the following links are sold at these prices:-
PR5 – $50 a month
PR6 – $100 a month
PR7 – $250 a month
PR8 – $1,000 a month
