InactiveWhy not try to gather a lot of ppl in US and demonstrate against this?
Then more US ppl (not only gamblers) will raise their eyes.
If they act the way they did with this bill, how many other bills will be handled the same way to get new laws that maybee wouldnt pass otherwise?
I think THAT can be a threat against democracy.

InactiveHi guys…
There is a protest scheduled in Washington, DC this coming week BEFORE the president signs the bill… if anyone has the details please post them because I forgot where I saw the details.
Monday, the APCW will have another video which will be more in-depth and target Frist and Goodlatte. Also on Monday, I hope to see what the affiliate programs have been doing to help us save their industry…
I think most (not all) affiliate programs have forgotten they have a vested interest in this business… Look how many have participated in this thread… like TWO?
Webmasters are caught in the middle of this issue… and it smells disgusting on both ends.

InactiveJ,
I have to agree with you. Casino affiliate programs or the casinos itself DO NOTHING! Unfortunatly I will not be able to make to DC to join protest but the responce by industry is beyond disgusting.
However this will turn out, even if we win the fight – I’ll be reconsidering my participation in this industry. I find quite disturbing that people who profited the most simply pulled the plug and left the fighting for us. If all goes well I think it will be important to post ALL casinos that have pulled out of the market so they will be boycoted by us.

InactiveI’ve already removed the ones that have pulled out and if this bill does not pass, I’m not putting them back. I’m sticking this out – wish I could get to Washington.
This is not just about gambling anymore, its about the way they are running our country. For years they’ve been piggybacking bills to slide them through, this is not the first time. We should have a say in what happens in our country.
