Even though the Windows Casino Group is now a part of Wager Junction, we had been conducting audits on the sites to test their cross marketing practices. This is part of our on-going study of affiliate program marketing practices.

AUDIT OF WINDOWS AND MAGIC OASIS CASINOS:

AUDIT INTRO: During our cross-marketing audit of the Fortune Affiliates, we elected to check some of our other APCW Member programs tracking and email campaigns as well.

We first focused our attentions on the Windows Casino Group, as they had some tracking issues in the past year. On February 7th, 2006, an auditor visited Windows Casino, downloaded and played. All tracking showed correctly on the webmasters interface.

AUDIT ISSUES: The auditors email address received cross-marketing materials from the Magic Oasis Casino. These emails were html mailers with embedded links. The links contained the affiliate ID of the original webmaster that recruited the auditor to Windows casino.

The auditor clicked through the link in the email, downloaded Magic Oasis software, deposited and played. Although the download and hit showed up immediately, the deposit and casino profit from the audit was delayed by 12 to 24 hours. However, it did credit the appropriate amount and tracked correctly.

AUDIT CONCLUSION: The APCW believes there are no issues with this audit.

    No problem, Dave

This is the sort of audit we like to see, too!

We have another audit that is about to be released… by the middle of next week for sure. It once again tests cross marketing, as well as the usual customer service, interactive player experience, and stats tracking.

We hope to have that audit (which was a bit more extensive and conducted in three parts over two months) up by Monday… we’ll see…

    Fantastic work :)

I was thinking about promoting them as they had a high % payout commission of 45%, but was warned off as they had a bad rep.

I may start to promote them now as they seem clean, although im not sure if they still pay 45% or not, will have to check it out

Keep up the great work :hattip:

Nope they dont pay 45% any more.
take a look Wager Junction’s setup, from what I understand all the Windows group will adopt this setup very soon.

It was not a true 45% that windows was paying anyway, they took out admin fees and a reserve, so the the actual total a affiliate received was about 30% to 35%.

    >>>Windows casino have a bad rep… All just a lot of hot air, I been promoting them for years and had far less problems with them over the years than a lot of the other “more respected” casinos.

    Well, yes and no…

Windows had earned it’s ugly reputation with many questionable business practiced back in 2001 and 2002. Even in 2003 we had a less than great audit over there…

Now that Windows is under the control of Wager Junction, Greg will have them on the up and up. I would have no issues promoting them myself once again…

Thanks for the kind words, Darko123…

Check back here on Monday for a big audit announcement.
