This is all I can afford – please note the Shell garage in the background for added poignancy.
To be fair, I have driven a fair few beasts this year, ranging from the hand-shaking power of the Hyundai Getz (it really is a pile of s**t) to the boy racer Seat Leon, which, whilst it looked good, got me in trouble with the Spanish law!
The Getz (aka F***ing Plastic Shopping Trolley) – Just take a look at that boot space!

The Leon (aka Red Rag to the Guardia)

I also have a tendency of driving other people up the wall. Martyn will have you believe this is down to a crack habit. Actually it’s not (and I can confirm that I am not addicted to crack, have never even tried it and certainly do not condone such behaviour), I just like doing it – driving people up the wall that is!

To anyone who can’t understand the accents, this is a prime example of Northern English humour. It tends to work well on kids, or so Martyn tells me, but generally speaking the correct response should be as follows: a forced smile, a subtle sidestep to the nearest exit, followed by the fastest sprint you can muster. :woohoo:

InactiveHahaha cheers Tom and an impressive range of wheels you have been stealing there!
I am sure with some of the people on the forum living in the US and Austrailia we will start seeing some of the 5L v8 Ozone layer destroyers.

CASINO JET7MemberBest thing is to lie low and cruise around in one of these puppies.
Hammer your foot down to the floor and you’ll be doing 60 mph in less than a minute, wind speed permitting. Go for a second hand Daewoo rather than the more flash rebranded Chevrolets which has got way too many bells and whistles on it and tend to attract admiring glances in the car park. Feel the rush.

VdpcevnjMemberMy wife is kindly letting me drive her “car”
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_KaOf all the things wrong with the car, the one that winds me up the most is the lack of coffee cup holders.

InactiveThis is the car to drive in the boonies – Durango, all terrain.
I’m not really much into cars, just love a comfortable car that can handle all terrain with ease and has tons of space for people, shopping, Great Dane transport and what have you.

I do love 68 Caddies and usually have one around, but unfortunately not at present. They are great on the freeway, but not much use in the boonies.
