Vpoker_BrazilMemberI currently have a weekly video conference with my super affiliates. Im usually on video, they not, but type the questions etc. seems to be more personalized.
I do have live roulette and baccarat, and plan on having the video stream to the WHOLE site. I agree, video is the way of the future

InactiveJust got a short promo video done for the GT site and my traffic has doubled in the last week.
I was very pleased with the quality and it’s includes one of my favorite (and yours too, I’m sure) Beatles tunes–“Give me Money”. I learned a lot from the experience with the production company. They pointed out better marketing phrases and I changed the text on the home page–another reason, I believe for the uptick in traffic.
I will be adding 4 audio tapes to the site by end/early next week.
Lastly, I am adding a ‘media’ central page at the site to display all video/audio tapes in one place. This will be a menu option on the nav bar for interested visitors.
Here are some suggestions for marketing your video:
1) Make sure it’s at YouTube. The company who made the video also provides a service that
distributes the video to 32 sources online.
2) They also provide a hosting service for your video/audio and for the 5, it’s $1.99/month–great price and all the tapes are stored in 1 place.
I am not an affiliate for the production company. I believe in passing on info about great service with results. I’m not sure of the rules in this forum as to referrals, but I can post the name of the company with permission or you can PM me for site/email.February 18, 2009 at 9:20 am #795481Anonymous
InactiveI say post away – The info is useful so no harm in letting everyone know about the company.
Another interesting thing in the article is with regards to the voice over – Apparently a sheffield uni in 2006 found female voices causes activity in the auditory section of the brain and male voices in the “minds eye” in the back of the brain.
This means female voices are said to be clearer because they are interpreted by the auditory part which apparently means they are better for videos used on a website even when it is explaining specific functionality of the same site HOWEVER research including the author’s (Tal at EyeView who spoke at CAP Euro) says that male voices are nmore effective when talking about financial education,

InactiveHi,
The company that made the video, is it the one that comes up on the beginning of the video on your home page?
If it is, whoever is interested just needs to go to your page and have a look :wink-winkPedro

InactiveOk, I have put up the video and 4 audios at 1 page here:

Any feedback welcome. This has been an exciting adventure. I consider it a good day
when I learn something new, especially pertaining to my websites.
Here’s the info about the video-audio production company.
Pete at webvideo 99.com
http://webvideo99.com/
[email protected] – email. This is Pete’s service I use to store all 5 audios-video plus the players.
The Easiest, Quickest & Cheapest Way To Add Video & Audio To Your Website

As mentioned, they also offer a service to distribute the video to 32 sources online.
Pete also added the music at the beginning/end of each audio. It was not difficult to learn the process, but it was sooooooo much easier with Pete’s help for this project.
If you need any help or have questions, let me know.

DobonusMemberGaylem,
Your videos look great, thanks for sharing.
You mentioned that you managed to double your traffic using video, but where did this traffic come from? Are your videos ranking in Google or are you recieving clicks from Youtube or one of the other 31 video sites you’ve been sharing your content with?
Also, would you ever use video content that’s provided by the merchant? I believe it’ll improve conversions and as far as i’m aware you can’t be penalised for duplicate video content, so it seems a no brainer for me – any thoughts?
Cheers,
baggsy

InactiveBaggsy: several reasons for increase in traffic. Certainly UTube and other distributing sources.
However, the Gambling Teachers Blog and feed is widely distributed, so that’s a big contributor.
Not sure what you mean by the second question. Do u mean gambling videos from other webmasters at the site? Not looking at that right now, perhaps in the future.March 1, 2009 at 8:27 pm #796289
DobonusMemberSorry I wasn’t clear.
Maybe the question isn’t as relevant to you, but I was thinking along the lines of the actual affiliate programs (i.e. PKR or Foxy or Party) providing video content for their affiliates to use? PKR is where I play and if they were to release video content for their affiliates to use on their sites, I reckon it would help them convert. What do you think?

Hey Gaylem,
I’m curious about those 32 sources – do you know what they are?
Thanks!

What do you think? As far as i’m aware there are no duplicate-content filters on video (bobrains, garythescubaguy can you confirm?), so there would be no harm in me offering video content (tutorials etc) that was created by the gaming provider and is probably on at least as few other sites out there?

InactiveI’m going to create my own igaming videos starting this Spring. I need to put the Adobe Master Collection to work and this is the perfect excuse to do so.
I plan on doing a new one each month so it will be interesting to see how it goes. I will feature my sponsors and exclusive offers.

DobonusMemberWhat are you thinking Gamtrak? Movies of the games being played with voiceovers?
Don’t you have to get additional permission to do that?
