http://www.freerelevantlinks.com/ A friend of mine found this the other day and sent it to me, I decided to try it, I still show 0 links pointing to one of my sites, and only one for the other, it does say that it will take some time.. but yeah, patience isn’t a virtue i much posess.. anyone else tried it?

Trouble is of course it involves you hosting 5 links on your site to sites that you know nothing about …
Better to actually do a link exchange the old fashioned way ?
Avoid link schemes as you are risking being banned from Google. This sort of thing goes against the Google webmaster guidelines.
As Gooner said, stick to the old-fashioned way of linking as Google sees that as more natural.
I tried it a while back and after two months the only links I had were the ones I worked to get, so it doesnt work in my opinion.
It is ineffective.
