InactiveI am currently promoting Windows Casino, Island Poker, and Gambling Federation.
I am not familiar with Island Poker, BUT I would remark that the other two Windows and Gfed are 2 of the scummiest programs on the net. Of course thats just my personal opinion. Let a few others chime in.

Inactivecan you make a recommendation for me? to replace windows and gfed?

InactiveGfed has always paid us on time and treated us very well so my experience with them has been very good.

InactiveI’ve had luck finding programs here.
In particular, I can recommend Casinoblasters, Casinopartners, Party Poker (iGlobalMedia), Vegas Partner, and Palace of Chance. The other programs listed there are either programs I’ve had no luck with, or they’re programs I haven’t worked with before.

InactiveIf you mean the eg 50000 casino visitors that you can buy called targeted casino traffic, that didn’t work for me either.

Inactiveinteresting, i had the same feeling about island poker
whenever i copy and paste my aff number, the link would redirect people to island poker, but my aff number was removed, and i wouldn’t get credit for the traffic
i had to go back and type in the number manually
i thought this was suspicious, because from hundreds of links, theirs was the only one that would do this
even now, if you copy their link as they tell you to, your aff # won’t show up unless you go back and insert it manually, even though it is displayed in the copy code they give you
i wonder if anybody else has picked up on that
if you use them, check that out, i doubt it’s only happening with my links

GuestHi,
well this might be wrong, but I think there are some places that do have a set up like what you’re talking about, and it was my understanding that once the player is tracked to the page where you don’t see your unique ID anymore, that by then the player has already been tagged as yours, but you just can’t see it carry thru the process.
Please someone correct me if that’s wrong, for my sake as well as his, because if that’s wrong I need to start paying more attention to what’s carrying thru the process and what isn’t.

Inactivei’m not sure if you’re referring to my post, but if you are
the aff # is not showing up on my page/website when copied and pasted, therefore it would be impossible to track it to me, when there is no #
for example, my island link is like this
http://affiliates.islandpoker.com/smartlink.asp?affid=####
but when i copy and paste it into my site it shows up like this
http://affiliates.islandpoker.com/smartlink.asp?affid=
minus my number
it’s not a big deal because i can edit the link and insert it manually, but it took me a month to figure out something was wrong with the link, of course they would never bring that to my attention
theirs is the only link thats ever done that, i’m wondering how the # won’t show up when i copy it just like it is shown, with the #, but it doesn’t, no matter how many times i try
just to explain it clearer, the # shows up on my page, but is somehow removed within a few minutes, i don’t know how, but it’s not there until i type it in manually
it’s just something strange i noticed only with islandpoker

Inactiveyou see what i mean
it just did it here too
i copied the exact same link and pasted it, and look they are both different when they should’nt be
no doubt they will take you to islandpoker
if you get credit for it, there is great doubt

Dear Nick,
The reason that the affiliate number dissapears from the link is simply for cosmetic reasons. Once a person clicks on your affiliate link and is successfully redirected to the IslandPoker website the cookie in the persons browser is set and thus the affiliate number dosen’t need to be displayed in the address bar any longer.
If you have doubts that the tracking is working properly you can verify it at any time by checking the number of clickthroughs on your stat then clicking on your own affiliate tracking URL. After refreshing your stats you will see that the number of clickthroughs has increased by one.
If the tracking wouldnt be working at all as some people sometimes suggest then we wouldn’t have sent out a single affiliate payment in the past 5 months which is absolutely not the case.

nothing to do with the address bar

Inactiveisland poker is a rip-off in my opinion. In their stat reports they do not show how many poeple you have that downloaded. All you get to know is how many click throughs and your earnings. I wonder why they hide the download stats from you? hmmm…interresting. Also i have sent so much traffic to my tracker and no players. I have a friend the build a poker site and had a few thousand clickthroughs and no players. What a piece of crapp affiliate program. I may be wrong but when i see some dallar signs maybe my opinion will change. what do you think Mr. Davis?
