    interesting read, but i don’t think its enforceable due to the sheer number of websites on the net. and as a rule of thumb, if a law is unenforceable, it cannot be made a law :) unless the internets begin to abide by some common code of commercial ethics, i don’t see how this can work…at least not for the next 10 years or so.

    besides, FTC can only do something about sites hosted in USA…

    I don’t see it as a big problem. It just takes a note on the bottom of your blog site that this blog accepts commercial advertising or such.

    If I have a blog about bonuses that links to casinos with aff codes, I would think the readers know anyway that these are advertisements.

    I wouldn’t be worried, it’s just a way of avoiding deceptive advertising. In the long run, it will protect your blog from coming under fire by the FTC. Also its only applicable to sites hosted in the US.
