I have them banned, that is, my mail server deletes them.
Any legitimate company or person conducting online gaming business who avoids using transparency, should be avoided. Besides, anyone who is legit would realise using a free email account raises a red flag. This person is mostly probably out to scam you.

Excellent point.
Why hide behind a gmail account?
It is too easy to ‘run off’ after you cheat someone.It is hard enough separating real from wrong with websites much less a ‘no investment’ email account – you are like a ‘ghost’ whenever you want to be.
