arturs.vitolsMemberIt appears to be an adwords slap. I know that adwords doesn’t allow casino or gambling PPC ads in the US, but I thought some of the international folk might have seen something.

InactiveThanks Gregger – never heard of the term before.
:hattip:A most interesting look at the PPC subculture- and the hype – and the sycophants around “name” blogs simply trying to get some link-bait.

triplecrownMemberI have not noticed any penalties lately. This is the first I’ve heard of it. If you are referring to Adwords gambling adds, then it’s not a penalty just a rienforcement of their terms and conditions.

arturs.vitolsMemberTo my understanding, gambling ads are allowed on Google Adwords in the UK, Ireland and a few other places. Though this is a gambling forum, I know some affiliates have diversified and do retail as well. Retail adwords campaigns are allowed everywhere are have been hit hard. People have seen their quality scores drop which means they must pay more to show up in the same sopt. I do not personally know anyone that has been hit, so I just wanted to see if we could gather any info straight from the horses mouth.
