April is ALWAYS slower then January through March. This happens every year.
I think it’s a combination of the US April tax deadline and spring fever/vacations.
But, as you point out, when you factor in the dreaded “conference effect” this April should be a real doozy.

March has always been a bumper month for me – as if people are splurging right before they have to tighten up for tax payments
April has gone sort of back to normal… or worse… thank goodness there’s at least one whale keeping food on the table…
