InactiveHi CakePoker Affiliates:
I would like to start by letting you all know that it is business as usual at CakePoker. We are committed to providing a safe and secure poker environment for all our players, including US players. We are also 100% committed to keeping the promises we’ve made to our business partners, you the affiliates. Specifically I’d like to quote 3 of the “reasons given for making us your #1 recommended poker site” from our September Affiliate newsletter:
-Customer support is our #1 priority. We realize that without the players (no offense to you Affiliates) we are nothing. Every single inquiry is handled with expediency & care. Go ahead and test us at [email protected].
-Fairness & honesty. We all know that besides the love of the game, being a poker Affiliate is a business. All Affiliates want to be paid accurately & on time. Your earning statistics are accurate up to the minute and we promptly pay on the first of every month. If you ever have a problem with your account please contact me immediately at [email protected]. & I will take care of it.
-We keep our promises & we’ll be around a long time. In my last newsletter we promised to undertake some initiatives to create brand awareness. To start, we have contracted for commercial time on holdemradio.com and also bought advertisement space in Bluff magazine. We are running a promotion in September that will definitely spread through word of mouth.
We intend to continue to stick by our promises and strive to achieve our goal of becoming the #1 poker site on the internet. In fact, we at CakePoker see the current murky legal situation as Weiji. This is the Chinese word for “crisis”. Many positive thinking proponents (including CakePoker) see Weiji as the combination of two words that are roughly translated as “danger” + “opportunity”. This situation creates an unbelievable opportunity for CakePoker to grow exponentially by creating a home for the tens of thousands of US poker players who have been abandoned by our competitors. We implore you to seize this “Weiji” or “opportunity” with us and make CakePoker your # 1 recommended poker site. Please feel free to use our official policy statement from this link http://cakepoker.com/About/USPlayersNews.aspx to post in your forums or send to your members so that our position is 100% clear.
Best Regards,
Chris P

Well, allow me to add to your list then…..Lasseters and AusVegas are and will be taking US bets, and they are regulated by the Australian government.

As ever, if you have any questions about these affiliate programs, you know where we are.

InactiveHi All,
PokerAffiliate.com (for PokerRoom.com, CasinoRoom.com, EuroPoker.com and HoldemPoker.com) are currently in the process of obtaining further advice with the objective of fully understanding the applicability and impact of the Act to our US players.
However, for the time being, there is no change and we have not yet made the decision as to what will happen with US player accounts.
I would also like to stress that I will be sure to keep all communication open with you, and will update you as soon as any changes take place.
Carly
