About this email I received (as a player) from one of the JPF group of casinos?
Did anyone else get an email like this, or hear about some of the implications in this email?
Here is a copy of my post at another forum:
Hey all,
I am really disturbed by an email I received yesterday (as a player) from one of the Brightshare casino group…Wild Jack. Please see below:
Dear Kathryn,
As a loyal player, I wanted to give you a heads up on what is about to
happen to EcoCard, your preferred payment option. EcoCard has informed
us that they are pulling out of the US market, but they are ensuring
that good players will have another secure depositing method made for
them. But what is a good player?
According to EcoCard, it is a player who has deposited
over $500. Our records show that you are only $56 away from this mark.To secure your place at Wild Jack Casino, be sure to deposit at least
this amount by this Saturday, July 14th, 2007.In the meantime, be sure to stay up to date on the official blog of the
Jackpot Factory spokesperson,

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our support
team.Your Wild Jack Casino account number is XXXXXXXX
Have a great day!Best regards,
Mary Wise

A Jackpot Factory Casino
http://www.jackpotfactory.comThere are so many strange implications in this email, that more concern me as an affiliate, than a player. I almost don’t know where to begin with the questions.
1).
As a loyal player, I wanted to give you a heads up on what is about to
happen to EcoCard, your preferred payment option. EcoCard has informed
us that they are pulling out of the US marketOk…last I heard and I think it was from the Brightshare group, Eco would soon not be taking any new US sign ups. Now, of course I know what typically follows this, based on recent history, but have you all heard something more definite? They are completely pulling out of the US market? There is more than implication in this comment, in my opinion.
If this is true, why are the players hearing about it before the affiliates. LOL…or is it just me? Am I the only one this is news to?
2).
but they are ensuring
that good players will have another secure depositing method made for
them.Huh? Eco is closing to the US market and yet assuring “GOOD PLAYERS” they will be opening up another method for us to deposit? I can’t even begin to understand this.
3).
But what is a good player?
According to EcoCard, it is a player who has deposited
over $500.Ok now this one really has me stumped. How is it that Ecocard is determining for the JPF group …who is a good player? $500? How is that determining a good player? I assume you mean $500 in this last month? I have deposited far and above that with the JPF group over the years, in fact have played there almost exclusively a good bit of the time. I am a VIP player. I don’t know how in the world Ecocard could define to JPF what is a good player based on one month, nor can I understand why they would…or what the relationship is between the two, JPF & Eco. Is this the case for all casinos or just JPF?
You know, I typically hate and will ignore any solicitations , that are followed by a threat of any kind. The threat being, if I don’t deposit another $56 by 7/14, I won’t be considered a “GOOD PLAYER” and the insinuation, I won’t be able to play at Wild Jack any longer.
If I was only a player, I would have put this in the file and never played at a JPF casino again because even if all the suggestions in this email are fact…I don’t care for the approach at all.
As an affiliate, I have a responsibility to my players to get to the bottom of this.
I honestly don’t know whether I will be more unhappy, if this was a VERY POOR sales campaign or if these implications are true.
I would very much appreciate someones help in deciphering exactly what this email is saying.
Thank you,

I have heard things about Eco as well but I was told that there was something coming in place of Eco for the USA players and they should be really happy with this new processor coming.

Thanks bonustreak,
I tell ya, I have been chewing on this one since yesterday. I am a big JPF fan, both as a player and affiliate, they are sponsors as I know they are for you too and I just can’t understand why an email went out like this…LOL…but trying to.
I have so many questions.
Like this new deposit method…is it only being offered to JPF? Only (apparently) for players that have deposited over $500 via Ecocard in the past?
Why wouldn’t it be deposits over $500 in general? I guess I just don’t get the relation to the two.
It turns out I had, I think $30 more on my Ecocard and did deposit it at WildJack…but I guess I won’t hit the mark. I won’t be able to play at WildJack any longer?
The July 14th deadline….should we assume then that Eco is done on July 14th for US or is that just some sort of deal with JPF?
Honestly, I don’t get it and I don’t want to believe the worst of one of my favorite groups so I am really hoping for an explanation from them…LOL…that I can understand.
Thanks for your post!
Kat

July 12, 2007 at 2:15 pm #742302nick777MemberI represent them as well, and am shocked at the email you received.
I mean talk about unfairness. Error? Even so, very disappointing that a program would do this.
July 12, 2007 at 3:43 pm #742308AnonymousInactiveThanks Kat for posting this – I was getting around to doing it today when I found out from some players yesterday..
Well let’s hope whoever is responsible sends their picture in so we can throw a throw rotten tomatoes at them (just to release frustration in a friendly way )
Cheers
