Well on my blog I try to post unique content and put according to the
benefit of my readers.

My readers in return post my link in their blog and also I generate traffic from their
mouth publicity.

I think that it many be due to trust of my readers what I got to post some useful information.

Well I am the personal search engine of their.

I have a new site [poker] in development that I plan to promote largely by sponsoring or organising poker games in pubs. Figure I might be able to build a specific niche community out of it. Now sure how it’ll convert, but it means spending lots of time in the pub

I have heard of several poker affiliates doing quite well for themselves that way.

It adds a personal touch and creates trust.

Do you see good quality traffic from Twitter? In my experience a huge majority of Twitter traffic has minimul interaction with our sites.

I don’t see Twitter giving quality traffic either. Facebook is a bit better, but not all that great either.

Try out ‘Media Buying’ i.e. online Newspapers and online Magazines ads. I have been doing this for couple of my clients and getting outstanding results. But it’s expensive.

Yeah people using twitter tend to be in a rush, info junkies. If they click on a link they tend to give it a couple of seconds so you would really need to grab them to stop them going back to where they really want to be.

We have tried offline and it may have worked well, it may not have, who knows! Thats the issue for me.
