Just read at another portal that general and a common feedback from affiliates at ICE and LAC was that affiliates want more regular content!
I completely agree with this. I have actually signed up at some casinos just to get their newsletters, but it should be easier for affiliates to get this info. An affiliate newsletter once a month is not enough, if there are news, promotions and campaigns more frequently at the casinos.
I have recently asked an affiliate program to send me the newsletter of their casinos, but this wasen’t possible. Can this really be true? Shouldn’t it be possible for affiliates to get uneditted promotional material that is already made for players – and to get it automatically without having to make affiliate accounts in different language etc. to get all the news??

From the affiliate programs that you’re working with, what types of information do you want to receive regularly? Promotions, updates on new creative, details on top performing materials, top paid affiliates?
And… how often would you want to get this information?

I am looking for news about:
1) any player promotions coming up, both for new and existing players.
2) big winners
3) new games
4) other funny stories etc.Number 1 is most important! And I would like the info when there are news, like a weekend casino tournament, a special valentine’s day casino bonus code etc. etc. It doesn’t have to be big, just heads up on what is happening.
What I do today is either sign up for the casinos in question to get their newsletters or I visit their sites on a regular basis. So it should be quite simple, the info is already available.
But I sometimes wonder why in this particular case it is NOT possible to get spammed with news about all of the above. Or to make a site where all the info is gathered… I don’t know, but I could definitely save some time.

Most of the casino review sites and other blogs survive on the basis of few pages and repeated content. The user submitted content is never trustworthy because that may be copy/paste job. pjotter’s observations are correct. But there is a way always. Though certain cost is involved with it. If the revenue generation makes a sense so would the original content to make available. The ROI rules everything.

You can get an automatic rss news feed for our premier casino – All Slots – on this page:
All Slots Online Casino | NewsJust click on the orange rss feed symbol on the right side of the page – and voilla! – you’ll be updated about everything going on for players at All Slots Casino.
Let me know how this works for you…….
Enjoy – Marcia

I’m glad you found it interesting. I was actually hoping to hear from some affiliate managers.
Actually, I wouldn’t mind getting “spammed” with this stuff, but I can see it from your point of view as some (many) affiliates would probably not like to receive it. Hence, a RSS feed option could perhaps be a great solution. I have added it to iGoogle and I will use it to give you more exposure!
Big thanks!
I guess the RSS feed is available at many other casinos, so affiliate manager here is your chance. If your casinos have a RSS feed which is regularly updated please let me know!
February 6, 2012 at 11:37 pm #821176AnonymousInactiveI too want to be updated on promos regularly – often it’s the only way you’ll get exposure.
If it’s in the mail, it gets up asap. Especially if it has banners with it.
I don’t have tome to go to all the aff programs and look for things, and enough of them send me things to make it not necessary.
If you don’t send me things, you are missing out.

February 14, 2012 at 6:03 pm #821424AnonymousInactiveI received this from Market-ace.com
Have you downloaded the Market-ace Desktop Communication Tool to your desktop yet? If not you really could be missing out on receiving all the latest ‘as it happens’ news from our top bingo and casino brands – Jackpotjoy, Sun Bingo, Heart Games, CAESARS Bingo CAESARS Casino and Fabulous Bingo.
…
Lots of our affiliates are already taking full advantage of our totally unique Desktop Communication Tool; they are then often the first to hear about promotions and offers from our brands. They may also be privy to information that is only sent out on our desk Alerts, which gives them the heads up in marketing all the latest deals. The Desktop Communication Tool is really useful for affiliates who use outside copywriters to write their content for them – this gives writers immediate access to the latest info straight to their desktop, which in turn reduces the time researching new promos significantly. It can take just as long to find a good promo to write about, as it does to actually write it – our Desk Alert alleviates the ‘middle man’ you could say and puts your copywriters time to much better use – getting the latest promo news out first.
Market-ace provides all our affiliates with an extensive range of marketing tools to help in campaigns; the desk alert has proved to be a big hit with those of you who like to make sure you get the news out their first and are not left lagging behind.
It couldn’t be simpler to install either and if you are wondering, it is also free to download of course. Just head to Market-ace, click on the (Desktop Communication Tool) installation link and follow the easy step by step guide. You will then never miss out on a promotional trick ever again.
Make sure you stay in the ‘know’ by making the most of our Desk Alert tool…. A service found only at Market-ace!
Sounds interesting, but I still don’t want to have to check too many sources.
I have found more RSS:
Unibet Affiliates
BestPay Partners BlogCould be great if we could collect them somewhere…
