MissMMemberThat’s a shame, always love working with them, also got a sweet deal now

jncnetMemberIt definitely sounds like the beginning of the end for them, or maybe just a really hard patch. They are a pretty big company, I don’t see them going out of business anytime soon. I’m glad they aren’t my main affiliate program lol

mobvalMemberThey used to be good.

rialto.melinaMemberThis is not a program I can promote until they sort out the link and banner problems

lesclothMemberIt’s a very strange and worrying situation, but William Hill is too big to fail by such an incidence. I trust next week everything will be back to normal.

InactiveIt looks absolutely massive.
So many rumors flying around on what happened, and how it all went down – but for everyone to walk it must have been pretty serious.
I can’t see WH being dead in the water for long, they are just too big of a brand, with cash to be able to move and start up. But then again.. who has the data?

InactiveTheres no way they are going under, William Hill is huge, sounds like a big misunderstanding with the walkout and maybe a lot needs to get sorted but in no way it is the end.

I agree!!!

chazMemberHuge means nothing anymore. Myspace was huge social site, yet they faded away. Once around 2000 ICQ was big, yet faded away as well.
You can’t expect punters to sit and wait, while WH figures their stuff together. With competition so fierce these days, even a day of trouble is too much.
I wonder how all of these rumors are affecting their stocks!

InactiveI don’t think you can compare a social media site to a bookmaker which has been operating for 70+ years and made over £150,000,000 profit last year and is the largest bookmaker in the UK

True, it’s not comparable, but all I wanna say is that people don’t care about huge anymore.

rialto.melinaMemberwilliam hill land based will remain stable but the online version reputation right now is not the best. They will have to work hard and spend more money to fix it.

Agreed, it’s to very separate businesses with different management, staff etc……they have a long way to come back but at least they have the brand and money behind them so although it doesn’t look great I am sure they can afford to buy their way back……also are players even aware, has this affected them? Certainly affiliates know and there is some definite damage there that needs rectifying

igamingeliteMemberAnybody has some news on this topic ? I am really getting mixed feelings right now about the situation of William Hill in the online business, especially Affiliates United.
If anybody got news / inside views, pls kindly share.

bardotMemberThe stats at Aff utd / Affiliates United / Cpays are hard to believe. At least ours are. Cpays had the worst reputation in the industry. AffUtd is Cpays. William Hill farmed out their online business to these crooks without doing proper due diligence. They only had to google them to see what disreputable people they were getting into bed with. This is a small dent for Hills that is more embarrassing than anything else. Affiliates who I believe have been cheated by AffUtd know William Hill is an honest and upright public company. Hills just have to show some balls now. They got into this deal because they did not have the balls to run their own business. They were afraid of the online environment. Smokey dingy betting shops on every high street – that is their game. The ‘inter-web or whatever it is called’ was not. Hills made a massive mistake and the people who got this Plc involved with these crooks should pay. But that is for later. Right now Hills must move lock stock and barrel away from Playtech and the Cpays conmen. Bring the business back under their wing. Frankly any affiliate still promoting these Cpays muppets now must be mad. It was obvious enough before this blew up. Wake up. There is no such thing as a “sweet deal” with Affutd. What they give with one hand they take, under the counter, with the other. If William Hills has a single brain cell left they will be out of the Tel Aviv nightmare asap. But until that time, why send punters to them when there are so many good uk-facing companies out there that are not corrupt? We will promote William Hill, but only once they have a proper affiliate program not run by cheating crooks . . . . . anyone for table tennis?
