TerriopidMemberGreat domain, but 2-5 mill sounds a little steep to say the least :whoa:

InactiveThe auction is coming up fast, less than a week away.
May 20, 2008 at 8:23 pm #768182Anonymous
InactiveIt might even make sense as a speculative buy, even for a “big” price.
Here’s why: it is probably the kind of unique domain that some big online corporation is going to want eventually, to use for recruiting a huge army of affiliates.
Hold the domain for a few years, and then flip it to a company like.. Google, Microsoft, eBay, Amazon, American Express, Buy.com, IAC, Walmart, Target, etc.. An online casino company might be a great fit too.
Heaven knows, they all got the $$$$$$$$$
At that point, it probably would not be that hard to enhance the price from seven to eight figures.

InactiveThe auction is tomorrow (Friday), so there is not alot of time left..
This is the correct URL for online bidders to register for the auction:
http://www.moniker.com/absenteebid/index.jsp
Good luck!

InactiveWould it be corect for me to assume that you’re the currnet owner of the domain in question DaddyHalbucks ?
:tongue:Those prices are way out of my league – and I’m sceptical thhat they’re achievable – but then again we’ve all seen some big money exchange hands in the past for bare domain names.
I’d appreciate hearing from you post auction with some of the highlight prices …

InactiveYes, my company is the owner of the domain.
You may be right. Very few domains actually sell for seven figures.
On the other hand, very few domains have as much potential value in web commerce as AffiliateProgram.com.
It’s all about finding the right buyer.

I have to ask you , do you really think your going to get from 2-5 million for that domain ? I really think youll be lucky to get 100k , and thats if theres a nut bidding .
Anyway just my 2 cents . Good luck.

InactiveAny update on what it went for ?
May 25, 2008 at 2:27 am #768460Anonymous
InactiveIt did not reach the reserve.
The good news it is still available, and the opportunity is still there for some company to get a prime piece of electronic real estate on which to construct a killer affiliate program.
