What determines whether you open and read a newsletter? Is it the subject, the length, the information, the affiliate programme, etc?

Do you ever check your junk mailbox incase your newsletter has gone into it?
What information would you like to receive in a newsletter?

How often would you like to receive a newsletter?

Do you prefer a small teaser with links to the information, or a lengthy newsletter with a lot content, for eg. content thats easy to copy and paste?
