InactiveNa not really for the simple fact of it they can’t pay me and I have to chase them down, I simply don’t work with them anymore. There are times when they go on holiday and things or if banks are being asses and money is not moving then I can understand and give the programs a bit of slack as long as they are communicating with me that is.

YoungT.jrMemberAs I have started to head down the dark side of being an AM, I can say I am taking with me the feel of what it is to be an affiliate, as I still operate three websites and have to play duck and dodge with affiliate program managers at times. I have vowed that this will never be the case with my company, if there is (and I hope not) an issue, affiliates need to know. I always hated playing the “Texas Two Step” with sites and do not expect my affiliates to do it either.

GuestChips I hope you never find yourself in that position but I assure it exists. there are (I’m certain) lots of AMs who want to be all that and a bag of chips but when you’re told to stall … ?
or worse being fed BS from your uppers and you know its BS … do you then pass it on .. after all … that was what you were “officially” told.
… if only it were as easy as John Wayne made it look … but it seldom is.

biggygMemberIf they are CAP certified ,post in their forum that they are ignoring your emails. If this is a every month occurance then maybe you need to drop them and move on to others.Don’t worry about them holding your money hostage .
I have no time for laggers in this industry ,I feel if we keep them on their toes it helps us all in long term. You snooze -You lose!

True, As a private contractor of sites I make it completely clear that players and affiliates (and me) must be paid as agreed and per the t & c. Give me a line of BS and the program will be sent to the rail.
I have been in business over 31 years now and I will not allow a customer (that is you all) to be shafted. I have been down that road and know how it feels to loose cash, (still have not got it, btw) I will not have my affiliates feeing the same way I did.
Let me add, I am a lousy dancer, just ask my wife. iGaming Pros will prevail and operate with the utmost integrity.

Good point – I have experienced this in previous roles – it’s not as simple as it seems sometimes.
Try and get the AM on MSN/telephone and ask them what’s going on. I know that has worked in the past with previous roles. Being honest and/or understanding will help both parties but there are lines that shouldn’t be crossed.
If this doesn’t work, send an email saying you will give them prime exposure etc etc – watch them reply!

InactiveThese programs need to cease with the non-sense. its the same every month. I have certain bills that are due every month, its not a mystery to me I know they’re coming so I prepare for their arrival. These programs know the affiliate bills are coming up, if they need extra cash to cover for the soft months I suggest they save some during the lucrative months. It’s not rocket science companies due it all the time or they go out of business.
Do Am’s wait to get their paychecks?

YoungT.jrMemberWell, I have been burnt twice over paychecks. So… there are times AM’s get shafted just like an an affiliate. I gotta tell you it sux, from both sides. You bust your tail to deliver results and see no green. That is what I meant by both the affiliates and I have to be paid. I have bills just like everone else. The abreviation AM does not me Abuse Me.
