InactiveI’d like to join in on this question –
What kind of promotions, creatives, payment methods, whatever, would you want while promoting a casino?
Better yet, what are the key elements from your pov of a happy and productive casino-affiliate partner relationship?
It’s sharing time :1Dialog:August 3, 2006 at 2:29 pm #700921Anonymous

InactiveOffer reduced juice, so that players will stay. That’s the biggest thing. Otherwise, all that players are going to do is come and whore bonuses off of you.

InactiveAnd ovciously, a high percentage revenue share is good. Most places offer around 25%. I try not to promote any that give me less than 30%. The good sportsbook affiliate programs offer more because they know they can support it.
As far as something unique…freeplays with no rollover? usually sportsbook affiliates are sportsbettors themselves. Yeah: freeplays would be nice.

Inactiveok maybe this would help, like I said this is an “affiliates only” loyalty program.
Ideas I had:
-offer a tiered percentage payout based on number of players accquired per month, so say 30% base with up to 40% depending on number of players accquired.
-Also for long-term purposes say for 3 months straight you brought in a certain amount of players we inturn give you 50% losses payout for the next 3 months
-or for again long-term purposes, every month u hit a certain target we add a percentage point on to your payout up to at most say an extra 10%
-As well as cash give aways for top performer, top newcomer, this would be on a monthly basis
-And maybe tv, trips, or other giveaways?
Thoughts anyone?

InactiveBundle it all up, package it nicely and send it on over here!

Seriously, all of the above are nice.
Always also keep in mind that you want newcomers to have the same opportunities as the old hands, so rewards for improvements of personal performance work well.
It rewards everyone who puts an effort into it, not just the big affs.

InactiveI got the simplest answer that will make you the #1 Sportsbook in the world
Offer % of all action, win or lose
Do that and you are the man
Example
You take 10% of all juice, but only if you offer things like big money contests or good player loyalty program, etc…if you dont, you gotta take less juice on your action
My player, lets say bets an average of $100 a day, i get 0.05% of all action, that is $5 on every $100 i get, assuming he maintains that pace for the entire month, that is $150 i get, which is very reasonable
This encourages me to send you winners, and allows me to feel good about my earnings
And since your job is to balance the books and take your money from the juice, it is safe, if you do your job right, you cant lose, and most importantly, i cant make $0 from sending you a quality player, i get money no matter what, not just you, that is much more appropriate from a business standpoint
Somebody will do it eventually and they will cash in large, believe me

1/ Good. But say: this month’s players will generate 40% instead of 30% FOREVER. I mean, nice to have 40% if you have the number of sign-ups, bit if you have to KEEP ON doing those figures, it’s not a positive motivator anymore. So far my knowledge of psychology, and stress management.2/Good, but also: make it permanently or don’t do it. IMHO.
3/ I don’t like ‘top new affiliate’ stuff, because it’s an existing big affiliate who signs up for another program who wins anyway. Or, worse, a blackhat SEO guy. Like DOm said: focus on personal improvement. (But again, everything you give, give it permanently.)
4/TV’s and trips are welcome. May be you can offer a choice to affiliates? You say: Get this trip to Vegas instead of $600 commission. Here’s why: tax avoidance. Most affiliates do not have companies and all of us want a TV or a vacation once in a while. For those, if they have to pay the vegas trip themselves, they have to pay income tax first on the commissions, which can be quite high.
