InactiveI think it could matter. You should always use the exact link given to you by the affiliate program. If you alter it, there’s no telling whether or not your referrals will be tracked. Best to use exactly what they give you.
You can add a forward slash at the end of a full domain name, for example:
www.choicegambling.com
is the same as
www.choicegambling.com/
But if you have a dynamic URL, things are different. For example:
www.choicegambling.com/casinos.php?name=casino-del-rio
is not the same as
www.choicegambling.com/casinos.php?name=casino-del-rio/
(Note the forward slash at the end of the second link.)
The first link works; the second link takes you nowhere.
Hope that helps.

InactiveThanks, Dave – that’s an important distinction.

InactiveThanks Dave!
I didn’t know it mattered with dynamic URLs. I went back and checked every single link on my site. Thanks for taking the time to explain. Really appreciate it.

InactiveI think whoever told you that was trying to pull a fast one on you. Like someone said correctly above, just copy and paste exactly from the casino so there is no possibility of losing customers.
