It will be interesting to see the developments regarding sports betting / gaming advertising in Australia. Media is generally believed to be 7 more times more effective than advertising, and in reality can be 1000s of times more effective. Advertising does reach the masses. I have found that usually the right mix of both advertising and news media / publicity is most effective, including an internet presence and positive public and media buzz. Australia was ready for TitansBet and I think we’re ready for CAP Downunder also. This should shake up the ACMA (Australian Communications and Media Authority).
