InactiveHaven’t seen this one around for quite sometime. Thanks for the heads up malicious indeed. The malicious trends latley have been targeting personal P.C’s and browser hijacks. Thanks for the heads up!

InactiveWhat’s strange is that some of my sites (most of them) have been affected but a few have not. It’s quite possible that, as I created them at different times, the sites will have different versions of adspeed’s codes and perhaps only certain versions of their code or servers of theirs are affected.
I know that they were experiencing DoS attacks a couple of days ago. This is possibly related.
Not fun.

InactiveDoes that mean if you browse a site with their rotation script on it may try to install a trojan on your computer or what exactly does this “virus” do?

InactiveI don’t know exactly what it does (or what the intention is) but if you visit a site with an infected banner rotation slot then your browser freezes – there is no way back other than crashing the browser. It tries to load something from megacount.net

InactiveThis is by no means a 100% definite statement, but from what I can tell so far the browser is crashing only when using code version 7.6.
Version 7.0 codes appear to be unaffected.

InactiveVersion 7.5 appears to be workable too so it’s possible that only sites with code version 7.6 are being taken out at the moment.
