InactiveA blog can be a great way to acquire good incoming links and thererfore to increase your Google rankings. But of course you can also do well without a blog.

smazk32MemberA blog is good to handle articles and news, if they are frequent.
For static websites, a blog is not needed and will not improve your rankings.
It’s the content in blogs that make them god for SEO, not just the fact that they are blogs.

nanerinazMemberok, so the blog will assist the content rankings, and incoming links, but i could still do well w/out it? would you suggest one of each and see what i’m able to do w/ it and which is better?

InactiveI don’t know about blogs specifically, but custom news with text links in them work extremely well. I believe it’s because of those that I get a 1/17 or 1/18 click to deposit ratio.
I personally am not interested in anything that looks like marketing and I suspect that others don’t like it either. Some websites write news that read like very official press releases or something and it doesn’t have a “hey buddy, these are today’s picks.. by the way, you can get a 50$ bet at this link” to it.

InactiveBlogs are an easy way to upload content in a short amount of time and from personal experience search engine crawl through a blog site quicker.
I would start off with a blog.
