InactiveWhile we can’t speak for Mummy’s Gold, the promo benefits affiliates in the way that players get a chance to win a rather large prize. This makes the users stay longer on the site and see some big prizes.
With our linking code you can always turn the pop off by adding the &pop_up=0 on the end of the linking code if you feel you don’t like the promo.
EG
xxhttp://www.goldentigercasino.com/referral.asp?aff_id=affXXXXX&pop_up=0Users are also able to unsubscribe from _any_ casino mailing list at _any_ time. We have a very strict email policy and don’t condone spam from any affiliates nor from ourselves. Users are given every chance to unsubscribe for anything we do.
As for the credit/linking to affiliates, our system always works with the player getting credited/linked to the last affiliate tag they clicked on. So in this case they will be credited to the affiliate that sent them to the casino for that casino. If another affiliate sent them to another of our brands then that affiliate will get credit for that casino and so on.
I hope this helps. If there are any further questions please don’t hesitate to ask

Cheers

InactiveThanks Renee!
So it seems like the affiliates are credited for the 55k emails for the traffic they send to this promotion. Interesting that I can turn of the pop ups but that would only clutter the url even more with parameters and as I seem to get credit I don´t mind.

I was a player and on your mailing list until I requested my acount to be closed and to be removed from the mailing list. I have spoken to live chat a gazillion times, mailed you, done the auto removal request and still the “junk mail” keeps coming from CR on a weekly basis.
I am on the brink of reporting you to spamcop since it seems impossible to get off your lists, just received a new mail a couple of hours ago.September 8, 2006 at 9:57 pm #705194Anonymous

InactiveIt’s Saturday here and I’m not at work, so I can’t do anything right now. Please send the spam through to me at [email protected] and I will have it taken care of. Are you a player at any of the other casinos? Or was it just one. Include this info in the email.
Have a great weekend guys.
CheersRenee

InactiveI always reply to uninteresting emails with a Remove or Unsubscribe in the subject. I get the same emails as Chill, but I’m not one to complain about someone on a spamming issue. People like making money and one of the ways to increase your revenue is by sending Emails that may come accross as spam.
I used to email out link exchange requests but stopped once I got a couple of warnings from my hosting company. Soliciting for anything through email is just not worth it for me.
If I am the one who sends solicited emails, then I will accept any opposition from those parties who hold no interest in my emails. If I receive a Remove in the subject, then I would write down that emailers email and place it on a post-it sticker on my computer.
 I am against sending emails to those who have requested to be put off one’s email list. Maybe there is an option in an email program that allows a sender to stop any emails being sent to specified parties. If there is a program like this, and I have an issue with a Sender, then I would recommend that he go out and get this email software or use this email program to avoid spam complaints.
