It sounds complicated. Maybe I’m retarded.:blush:
Even though I downloaded the file, it won’t let me go pass step 2.
Can someone help me to figure this out please? My understanding of CSS is a bit limited..
I put the code that I dl’ed into a block on my site, to see what it would do..
Here is what I got:

Everyone of those lines was a link.. What does that do? Having links stored in a CSS file that don’t show up on the site? Why would someone want them there?

The file you download and place on your server creates a web-based directory … the directory while hosted on my server will appear to be on your pages to search engines. The pages can be customized to your sites specifics.
Each one of the links you are refering to (and posted) leads to a directory category.
These categories will be populated with URLs, Titles, Descriptions … there are 30 people in the directory right now … so yes, many of the categories are blank pages right now … but hopefully that will change soon.
As for people who have not been able to get by step 2 … sorry, but you MUST follow the directions … ie .. place the link code somewhere on your index page exactly as instructed.
The ‘join script’ is designed to check the basic ways people try to cheat … and then I manually check for some more complex cheating methods. It always amazes me how many webmasters want to cheat at link exchanges … if I were an azz I’d post the URLs of those who have tried on this site to warn folks about them … but that would be mean … so I won’t.
Again, if you are having trouble figuring this out … I’m sorry, but 30 webmasters have managed to do it correctly so far.
Everyone who has joined has also received their 30 free one-way links in addition to their 30 two-way links from the directory.
