I saw it last week – It was ok and predictably nothing like the book at all – The book is awesome in my opinion.
On a good note it did make me want to a) Go to Vegas immediately b) Play blackjack and c) learn to card count so it can’t be bad for us!
Also – In the UK interestingly Party Casino had that wierd music advert before the film
I saw it last week – I enjoyed it but I read the book some time ago and can’t remember a lot about it so comparisons are futile
But that probably helped. Was trying to remember if the ending was dramatised for the film – didn’t remember it from the book.But nonetheless a good film IMO. In retrospect one that is probably worth watching on DVD rather than at the somewhat expensive cinema, but still 2 hours well spent.
It wasn’t as good as the book I agree. I am taking my oldest to Vegas next week and she plans to try and play blackjack..lol:wink-wink
