biggygMemberHere is my prediction fr 2011:
-Quick Tender will get seized
-Large numbers of USA programs will fold
-More affiliates will make the move to European markets and learn to live without their dependency on crappy USA Programs
-We will see more programs adding quotas and negative carry over as they struggle to compete with the big corporations.
Alex Pratt will realize how under valued he is when he is offered a 8 figure salary to create a super show for 888/Party Gaming /William Hill merger.Soon after he makes the cover of Playgirl magazine wearing nothing but the ace of hearts!:shakebuttFebruary 13, 2011 at 11:08 pm #814719Anonymous

Processing is becoming a bigger issues for US facing casinos. Over the past 12 months, more and more casinos are unable to process US deposits due to processors not accepting them. Some casinos have passed on these costs to advertisers, as processors hold back those deposits.

Same answer as Rak really – I think a number will do well as they pick up others business but it is a very tough market in terms of processing….Many operators have been hit very hard with this loosing some big chunks of change which effects the smaller guys a lot more as it directly impacts their cash flow

InactiveInteresting to see who got it right with a month to go – So reviewing mine below
In 2011 we will see
1) A number of the US facing operations tightening their belts or disappearing altogether (Much more than I though, but tick)
2) Mobile Gaming happening properly (Please!) (Tick)
3) Sportingbet to merge or be aquired (So so so close, dam you Ladbrokes pulling out Cross)
4) Some really long and pointless conspircy theory threads in a number of affiliate forums (Yep but predictable – Tick)
5) The removal of lifetime revenue from a number of major programs (nope and good news I wasn’t right – Cross)
6) someone will suggest almost every country in the world as a “good” place for a conference (Indeed, best one I got was Ghana the other day – Tick)
7) WMS will start to licence their software to other operators (almost there but no cigar – Cross)
Everyone will continue to talk about how much can be made in S. America and Asia if there wern’t payment issues (Tick)9) Calvin Ayre’s 50th at the iGaming Super Show will be the craziest and oddest party ever seen in iGaming (Definitely odd and definitely crazy – Tick)
10) Google will focus a lot more on quality content in their algorithm (See Panda – Tick)
11) Social games and virtual money will become a major focus for iGaming operators and affiliates (Huge focus and will only get bigger, watch this space for a big announcement in the next 8 weeks – Tick)
12) France will sort its licencing out and also regulate casinos (Nope, grrrrrr – Cross)
13) A household name (probably a media company) will enter the iGaming market (still not there – Cross)
14) I won’t manage to buy a single ticket for the Olympics (Bloody correct!!!! -Tick)
15) A number of older CAP members that disappeared in 06/07 will start to make a reappearence (slowly but surely they are emerging from the mess of UIEGA – Tick)

There is genuine reported numbers now, just look at WIll Hill, Paddy Power, Ladbrokes, etc. We have a research report on this and also run the mGaming Summit (The mGambling Summit) and rather than forecasts there is actual success stories and I only think this will grow with investment from the operators and the constant evolution of smartphones
