InactiveThanks for bringing this to our attention.
I will be escalating this to the CEO of Gambling Wages shortly. We will post once a satisfactory resolution has been had and what the outcome was, if the affiliate allows it. Stay tuned.

InactiveA few things pop into my mind when I look at those summary stats :
1) A high total deposit amount per player.
It appears that there has been $772K / 198 players which is $3902 per player. That some quality affiliate work – and you’d expect a reasonable payout.2) The credits and manager credits seem very high.
Bearing in mind that Cool Cat casino only has a 100% deposit bonus then surely we should expect to see the $772K in deposits earns $772K in credits.Instead we see that there is $1879K in “coupon credits” (automatic?) and a further $1452K in manager credits which no-one ever seems to know what they are for.
That’s a total of $3332K (or $3.32 million!!) in credits from $772K in deposits or a whopping 430% in bonuses !!
What on earth is going on there?
Why has so much “funny money” been put into the system?
It appears that only about 18% of the value bet is actual real money!!
The rest is “credits”.
This GamblingWages crowd appear to be applying credits at a vast rate, certainly way above the 100% bonus level, and the use of these credits (which may be simply lying in dormant player accounts) has the effect of dramatically reducing the “net win” and therefore the payout to the affiliate.Warren – Good on you for taking it to the Gambling Wages CEO … because this accounting appears extremely dubious …
:hattip:and RabbitHunter – I hope that you will agree to let the resolution be published
:hattip:I’ve certainly been put off GamblingWages as a result of those numbers – and will be looking out for a satisfactory resolution …

InactiveI have been put off GW years ago, I have to say this is very very interesting!!! Please keep us updated and I do think there is a thread way back in the day where someone brought the excessive amount of fake money up GW tosses out there to make sure affiliates are always in the rear with the program. I think it was at least 2 ys ago maybe only 1 yr ago it was certainly talked about here on cap that much I do know.

Very good point about the credits Paul. And definitely I will allow the results to be published, good or bad.
For what it’s worth I follow deposits to earnings pretty closely, and for the casinos we promote its in the 29%-36% range (all above a minimum of $500k in deposits), so our company averages out to earning 33% on deposits. For GW, over a span of 3/4 million in deposits the percentage was 13%.
I am working with Vipin from GW and I suppose the CEO will get involved as well for a resolution.

InactiveYep, we are watching this one closely. The chief is involved already.

ravanMemberThe GW group of casinos has been the most rogue on the net for years. They’ve been scamming, conning and ripping off players as long as I can remember, why the big surprise that they rip-off affiliates too?
No sympathy at all here – I hope they don’t pay you even 1c.

Have to agree with KK here. Why anyone especially long time casino affiliates have anything to with Gambling Wages is beyond me.
Why do they still even have a forum here?? More importantly why on earth do people still promote them??
No sympathy whatsoever.

GuestI agree, I should have done more research on who we promoted. To be fair though we really only started to promote them in March 2007 and stopped about a year later because of too many backpayments. That’s when the weird accounting really seemed to start for players already referred.
As the stats show we have not promoted GW in a long time. This was just an ongoing effort since 2007 to get paid properly. At that time it was hard to get paid because of the UIGEA, and I was simply a poker affiliate who was bringing in casino players as a side affect and was pretty new to the whole casino aspect. I came to CAP, saw they had a forum, seemed like they had attractive casinos and a good commission structure and the rest I take complete blame for not doing more research on the casinos. No sympathy is warranted.

InactiveBizarre, predictable, and very unfortunate I hear the cries for justice all the time by affiliates and players. Stranger though, how is it possible a program dripping with ROGUE manages to keep trucking along? Who all is supporting them? Where do they lurk? Who are they?
The surprise is not them ripping you off rather nothing is being done about it. I prefer action rather than reaction the latter always seems steals the stage. So now what? I assume nothing until the next time. And then at most the same cries will be heard. We need to attack the root of the problem and kill this cancerous program.
Should have done better research? Well it might have helped but some programs go rogue after the fact, For example, Grand Prive to list one amongst thousands. I supported GW a few years back dumped them quickly and gave my account away. Looking back suppose I should have closed the account instead.
I do feel for ya because like so many players you have been duke.

I’m not holding my breathe. Vipin seems very helpful but Steve has the reigns at that place and as far as I’m concerned, he doesn’t give a rats ass about affiliates. Our initial agreement to pay 15% of deposits from August 09 plus Revenue share owed has already seemed to be backpedalling. Vipin agreed I would be paid this, then seems like Steve (the one who was previously holding my earnings until I sent more players) put an axe to that.
Also it was supposed to be 20% of deposits from January 2010 onward and the normal revenue share. This would have brought earnings up to the industry standard in my case of 33%. I settled on this, knowing I lost about $100k figuring they’d never pay me any sort proper settlement and at least the 20% of deposits and revenue share would at least mean I’d earn something in the future. But again, it looks like they’ve reniged on that deal and it will be a weak 20% of deposits. Ironic considering last month would have been the first month of a respectable pay period.
Funny thing is, the day after I originally posted in this forum about this situation I had someone win over $500,000. Go figure…They since gone on to lose it all back and my account somehow shows a negative manager credits of about $200,000 for the month. I guess credits can be givith and takith at Gamblingwages. I truly feel sorry for this player.
At this point I’m just posting figures to document things for other affiliates because I don’t have a good feeling about a positive cash outcome on my part or the players.
For now I wait for Vipin to return for London….

End of January revenues, which I likely won’t see a dime of…. :flush:. I have absolutely no idea how this calculation was even made.

Steve does not have the reigns at GW. Let’s see what Vipin responds with, and we’ll certainly intervene to get this resolved properly if you strongly feel they are reneging on an agreed upon deal.
