InactiveAnyway I can delete the above message? I really don’t want to sell anymore. I wrote this in haste after being burglarized and received help from family and friends (thank you God,) so nothing is for sale. Thank you

I came home and everything is gone, including a load of cash I had in my office that was supposed to pay this month’s rent and food for about 2 weeks! I have literally a dollar to my name until the second week in January and I don’t know what I am going to do.
Man that SUCKS! I’ve always thought that must be the utmost voilation on one’s being. I’m glad that your family and friends came through for you. Hang in there, I’m a firm believer in karma.:yinyang:

Hey thanks thanks a lot for your well wishes, Nauti
It really was a huge violation and my wife is really upset! I must agree about the karma thing though….as the old saying goes “What goes around comes around!”December 31, 2006 at 2:15 am #720393Anonymous
InactiveThat sucks, I know how it feels like to get broken into. A person feels violated. It’s also frustrating to know that people get away with breaking into other peoples homes and stealing all the time because there’s never anyone who investigates this.
Luckily for me it hasen’t happened to me now in over 6 years, but it used to be a regular occurance so I do feel for you.

InactiveLong time ago a burglar broke in and I was in the house. Thankfully he was non violent and just a thief and left when I confronted him. ( Yep, I was young and feisty and just came out of the bedroom and started to walk towards him, talking, and kept walking right into him so he ended up backing up towards the door and out the door. At first he seemed shocked when he saw me and then confused when I just walked right into him.)
Ever since I have two large dogs. Yes, dogs can be shot or poisoned, but why bother and risk detection when the next house is nice and quiet? Works for me, plus I enjoy the unconditional love and companionship the dogs bring to my life.

InactiveThanks guys.
You know, my wife was sleeping and I was at work when they came in. It was really messed up but I am thankful they didn’t harm her!
Dom, yes, dogs seem like the way to go, they most certainly will atleast warn us of intruders. It’s a shame people have to live like this….but shit happens :plain:
