I think it would be very good news for the affiliate.. progressives are paid into by every spin, its how they grow.. so the affiliates account doesnt go into the red (from what I understand).
I had a player who won $1.3M from club world (affiliate edge) and I did very well from it.

I had a lady win about 250k on one of my trackers once, and she was limited to 5k a week. She did eventually get paid but took a year, she emailed me a few times during that and said as a point she would never play at that casino again, due to not being paid all at once.. True to her word, she never played there again
