    Simon,

Nice post. I really appreciated the tips! I’m getting ready for the NFL season and hope that it is prosperous for me.:colgate:

    RULE 1:
Football is the round ball sport played by the rest of the world.

If you’re trying to keyworrd optimise for the NFL season then you’re far better off going for NFL or individual team names.

Otherwise you’re going to get a lot of European hits that don’t convert …

(of course you could send them to me …)

    TheGooner,

On this point I agree with you that football is a round ball played by many. Sadly the americans only know of one kind of football and that is American Football. I tend to target NFL Betting, college football betting and football betting keyterms for the traffic and yes I do get some ‘rest of the world’ traffic.

But football betting even though it is american is still one of the most searched upon keywords during the NFL season.

    good point.
I wonder how much is looking for Euro football?

I’d agree the NFL betting and College Betting are good terms, I’d even suggest NCAA Football as well … anything to specify it further.

Most important Tip – Bet on whoever i say and wipe out the books

Tips for picking a Super Bowl Winner

1-Good, experienced coaching staff from top to bottom

2-QB, QB, QB, the most important player, must be a leader and possess intageable champ like attributes, cool under pressure

3-Teams with high 3rd and 4th down conversion %, usually a sign they can kick it up a gear when needed

4-Teams who avoid injury to key players, if a key player goes down for the season its usually lights out

5-Good balance on offense and defense, can’t have one and not the other, it’s a team concept, good time possession offences give the defence rest time, allowing them to perform at higher effectiveness, and so on…

6-One of my favourites, Sacks, the 2 finalists last year ranked #1 and #3 in the league in regular season sacks, very important, all great teams had it, the ability to overpower the other teams offensive line and get to their QB

It’s all on my website, which is why i never make any money from sportsbooks, all my players keep winning

Tips for sportsbooks who want football action

1-Free handicapping contest, season long ATS, like Bowmans.com, large guaranteed prize pool, weekly prizes, allow picks to be entered up until game time, don’t close selections on Thursday or something stupid like that, stupid rule cost me last year at Betwwts, a contest i won there in 2003

2-Lots of props, game props, player props, who will pass/rush for most yards in a given week, team to score most points on the weekend, season props, etc, every game

3-10% juice or less on every bet, gotta do it, if you don’t, others will, and they’ll get the action

4-Good odds, money line, futures, etc
