We wish it were possible to operate using the same terms and conditions as we have in the past but the online gaming marketplace has changed over the years, and it is now a much tougher marketplace with different operating margins for affiliates and operators alike.
The BIG issue here is it’s tough for everyone. When I signed up to Brightshare over 10 years ago, my contract stipulated, I would be paid 25% for the life of my depositing players or words to that effect.
IMHO if Brightshare/Spiral/Jackpot Factory were genuinely concerned for their affiliates welfare you wouldn’t have blindsided us with these rogue terms to begin with. What you fail understand you’ve trashed the trust factor – that’s all affiliates have and now that’s gone!
The fair and ethical thing is for these new terms to be made active as of the 1’st of May on all new affiliate sign-ups. Anyone signed up previously to the 1’st of May 2013 remains on the original contract agreement they joined under.
Reiterating Brightshare have literally destroyed the trust affiliates have in your program with not only the way this was implemented but the payload of these T&C’s.
