Marcia has always treated me very well.

However when Lloyd left things seemed go pear shaped.
A while later another long standing AM Shelley left Brightshare.

When Lloyd was at the helm he always had time to say hi. However the guy who took over his position, I’ve sent him two emails and both times he never bothered to reply. That sucks and is just plain rude!

As far as Brightshare stats, they’re not the best performers when compared to other MGS properties we promote. Doesn’t help none when all their casinos are bundled. Even if one only promotes a single brand, there is always the chance a referred player will end up on another brand.

I believe they cross marketing ethically.

The job of an affiliate is to send players to a gaming venue. From that point onward it’s out of our hands. We can only hope the site converts the player and their retention team keeps this player.

However, when you add bundling to the mix, that upsets the apple cart. Because at this point, while each gaming property is operated as separate business, affiliate are like the players they refer, both are gambling on making money. Fact is bundling really hurts affiliates.

This month had two players (allslots) who collective put us $19K in the red. And, which also wiped out earnings from AllJackpots. Albeit only $900 lost or so, but still, that $900 is far better than the BIG fat $0 for December 2012 we’ll receive because Brightshare bundles their casinos.

Jackpot Factory operates these gaming venues as separate businesses.

Hence, affiliates should NOT be penalized by Player-A winning at one casino, which zero’s out commission earned on Player-B at another casino.

Well I’m shocked right now. I’ve known Lloyd since 2001 or early. And he’s always treated me with respect. Even as a small affiliate back then, his door was always open.

When Jackpot Factory got busted for doing this, it was Lloyd who saved their backside:

So you can image me horror to now learn he was fired. Was he fired over the way USA players were handled and redirected to that RTG casino? Knowing Lloyd was a straight shooter, did he stand up against some other dubious actions going on which affected affiliates?

Lloyd if your reading this please send me a PM, I’m no longer a member of the GPWA. Alternatively my sig link site has a contact form ;)
