Here are some questions you might want to ask. Don’t have to be in this order or exactly the same.
What exactly is Google Penguin and have I been affected by it? – while this one seems obvious some affiliates might not even know they have been hit, others might mistakenly think they are affected.
I have been blessed to receive a response from God, meh I mean Google, and they confirmed I was not punished by neither Panda nor Penguin and that I was to look somewhere else to find the problem. I bet there’s at least one other affiliate like that.
OK, what’s done is done, I am penalized what do I do next? – that’s an obvious one. Affiliates want a direct answer on how to solve this. We want exact answers. Nothing vague like, “Well you could try this and that”. Anyone can tell you that.
Once the “fix” is applied how long will it take to get my ranks back? – ok this one might not be as exact as the previous one, cause probably nobody can give you an estimate, but roughly.
What to avoid in the future, so Penguin or an update of Penguin won’t hit me again? – things to do to avoid getting caught in this bear trap again.
I have a spam site that was missed by Penguin, what can I do to avoid being caught? – this is for people with a lot of sites who do have such sites, and might wanna ask, but won’t. Obviously the solution to be to get rid of the spammy stuff and add quality, but in what way that Google won’t spot you as a thief trying to flee the scene.
What’s gonna cost me to get things fixed? – no such thing as free meal right. Whether I do this on my own or hire an SEO Expert, what’s gonna cost an affiliate to repair the damage.
These are just a few that come to my mind, but are the most essential ones I think that get straight down to the problem and its solution without too much of ‘bla bla bla’. After all the time to answer those will be limited.
