Dominique, this thread has caused me great distress to have my most grievous loss publicised in this manner. I have, with difficulty, tried to deal with the issues as dispassionately as possible.

I was relieved when Arkyt said he would have no issue with the thread being deleted. I understand this is not a specific deletion request. Nor was my response that I’d also be happy to have it deleted. As moderator, you have the discretion to keep it up or remove it.
On the question of the spam accusation, I have answered as best I can. The list includes names that are quite old and perhaps over time memory becomes blurred. I believe the list I bought is Opt-in. Out of the 1.06m names on the list, this is the only instance of an accusation of spamming. As I said, I have used the list a number of times already and feel there was ample opportunity to opt out at any point including now. The opt-out address is valid and I’m sorry Arkyt had problems with it.
Arkyt, I’m really sorry for the bother and annoyance caused to you. That certainly wasn’t the intention. Of course I have no idea how you got onto the list, but please let’s get you off it as soon as possible. Thank you for your kind words about Craig.
